I held alt in war3 for so long that it's become a habit in every game i play... i dont even notice it.. if your hand is resting in the standard spot for your keyboard, your thumb should be able to hit it and hold it no problem

here's a genius idea.

health bar turn on always. as i dont know how you can play sc2 without seeing health/building/energy bars. but instead of default alt turning off all bars, make it show only energy bars so it's easier to spot where the energy units are in a big fight.

will help greatly for single target spells like feedback

hmm, while I thought that it's a good idea to have them on when microing blink stalkers, I find health bars are really annoying when trying to micro so I just relying on looking at what units are taking the most hits/scroll over to see red hp and move them back accordingly. Having said that, I do agree that you should be able to toggle them off and on when needed without holding down alt
