I can't believe this still is needed but religious and gun control side discussions will be met with harsh penalties from page 52 and onwards. |

I think he probably made it to look "good" after doing those horrible crimes.
Like that kid in that university shooting in the US, who started working out before doing it.

And yet he has posts on the wall about stuff that are couple days old.

Think about it, all the pictures of him are "nice" pictures no casual pictures at all... almost like he wanted media to only have nice pictures of him. What a sick fuck. either this, or a cover. everything seems so... set up or staged to me
His online presence definitely seems extremely deliberate. Facebook profile was created on the 17th of July...

That twitter account seem REALLY fake.
Might have been planned out that way though.

Well the general public usually give a shit...
A murderer? playing video games?
BAN VIDEO GAMES!

Indeed.
Looks kinda fishy though. With the single tweet and all.

Either way, it is in extremely poor taste, and completely disregards the symbolic value of this gesture, albeit somewhat effortless...
I can't help but be cynical, and I have no faith in "propierty" and "sensitivity" when people abandon their identities (literally, by everybody changing to the same nationalistic profile pictures) People fall into nationalistic, drone-like behavior way too easily, it's disgusting - especially considering the nauseating nationalism I've been seeing on facebook all day, and how it now looks like it might've been a right wing nut who's behind it all.

I hope my bokmål isn't too off. But I think our non-norweigians should have a chance to understand it

His first and only tweet was made on the same day that facebook profile was made. His online presence was definitely deliberate, its just a matter of what the intent of it was.

It is very possibly fake yeah, but because its brand new doesnt rule out its real. There is a twitter account in his name with only one recent message as well, so both could have been made to leave a message to the public about himself and his "mission".

Yeah I saw that now, I first thought it was todays date for some reason. Starts to seem like he made both to present a certain image to the public after the crimes.

Interestingly enough, I saw that quote for the first time ever probably a week ago, and now i'm wracking my brain trying to remember what it was on...

I would like to know from someone with more knowledge of Norway if there is a potential for "false-flag" style attacks to push laws/restrictions by influencing the public's emotional state. False-flag is obviously an option here... I think the Facebook looks really suspecious aswell. However... Having a norweigian targetting norweigian political buildings and killing young citizens cannot be in the interest of anyone or anything. The only thing I can see develop from this is Norway strengthening around their democracy even more. Especially with the primeminister handling it the way he is. Everything I've seen in the danish media has been sooo strong and good from his part.
Thanks for this response, I do not know enough about this situation to provide any more speculation. I agree that it is counter intuitive to harm a nations own citizens, but I do feel it was effective for those who orchestrated the 9/11 attacks (Disclaimer: I am not saying 9/11 is similar to today's event, I am saying 9/11 was an example of something with motivations in which my previous post was trying to inquire about to facilitate the potential existence of such motivations in regards to today's bombing/shootings).

Yeah and the music he posted on his wall @ fb is like if he wanted to leave some "good" music behind and that would explain why he leaves a comment in english to us.

Well video games will defo be brought into this one of the games listed is CoDMW2 which has that infamous scene in which the player kills innocent people in the airport.
It does seem extremely strange that he would make both a facebook and twitter page on the same day 6 days before he would do this, surely someone who plays WoW would have already had a facebook, i dont know. what would posses him to do this.
|
Keep in mind that its the police that has released the pixelated picture of this guy
how /what do you think is fake?
|
He's fucking quoting John Stuart Mill... Oh, the criminal psychologists are going to have a field day with this one...
|
Well, one of the newspapers in norway are going with him as the guy, giving references to his facebook and twitter. Still seems very deliberate, but that might've been the point.

So sad what happened.. I hope everyone in Norway can recover from this. First of all im a muslim and one of the thoughts that came to my mind was that I hope it was not someone "related" to Islam..Im glad its not as we already take a beating for most of the violence that goes on in the world.. regardless I pray n hope that people in norway recover from this as soon as possible.
