People are way too quick to make judgements. Even if the terrorist attacks were committed by Muslim extremists, which so far nothing points to being the case, they still do not represent the general Muslim population or the immigrant population in Norway at all.

Also, if that would have been a terror attack, it wouldn't have targeted government buildings and institutions but instead supermarkets, subway stations or other crowded areas. Sounds more like a political motivated attack by some inner country party.

The worst part about all this is you cant stop it. In the end it doesnt matter what kind of security you have if some guy loads up and descides he is gonna do this all you can do is try and reduce the casualitys. Same thing with bombers. If they decide they are doin it and dont give a shit what happens to them theres really absolutely nothing you can do. Suppose thats why its called terror.

When has a ban on anything popular ever had the effect of eliminating said thing, alcohol prohibition, and illegal recreational drugs would like to have a word with you. Also religion was not necessarily involved here, most likely politics.

Attack the governments that harbor them (Iran) instead of ones with dictators of petty power. It might not seem it, but terrorists cannot operate without a government that enables them. They need to trade and exchange for everything from food to warheads, just like anyone else.

It means they have no real world xp in dealing with these things. Which is about like saying ive read every book on being a race car driver so im an expert. Of course you can. But the right thing to do is not shit on other people's beliefs, but ask how the criminal(s) were able to build and transport a bomb? Should the ingredients be more tightly controlled? How did the guy got firearms? How was he allowed to enter the island armed? (if it's true that police officers do not normally bear arms there)
