You can't compare these two things. They don't just read books or go through it theoretically. They are training every day, exchange with other police forces who had expirience with terrorism and many members of such troops may have served in the military which was stationed in Afghanistan for years

No body actually has done this before, they never experienced this before, even the terrorists themselves. The best they could have prepared with is probably counter-terrorism training and procedures, but no not the real thing. I'm sure the swat team has trained to deal with terrorist though

Stop it, people have been involved in terrorism where they ended up as martyrs for political agendas as well, and some for personal reasons. Unless you want to ban emotions you can't ban any one cause for terrorism.
