I can't believe this still is needed but religious and gun control side discussions will be met with harsh penalties from page 52 and onwards.

However, the message which would have the most impact on Norwegians is: Tighten immigration laws and security measures by the police. Limit social freedoms. Of course, this might be an attack by Muslim extremists. I am just saying what the most likely effect will be, as seen by a Norwegian.

I think when something like this happens, its natural for people to ask why...and for others to object to blind assumptions made by others. But in general I agree with your point so in that spirit I'll quit posting until they find out more information. Hope everyone in Norway stays safe, much <3 and prayers.

I spent a year in Baghdad and saw the results of many car bombings and the like so I think i know a little more about it than you and can judge it a little better. Whether you seen worse or not is not the issue. The issue is that your comment is not appropriate for the given situation. So as the earlier person has said, GET LOST. My condolences to those in Norway.

they would attack stations ... basically any choke point with a lot of joe bloggses heading off to a normal days work. they want to make the public feel afraid of what their government is doing and in so doing coerce a change in poilicy and generate sympathy through empathy ... attacking the government doesn't really have the same effect because to some degree they are guilty ... unlike Mr Smith the local grocer.

The video about the hamsters linked earlier in the thread. I don't know how to translate the whole page with google translate or something like that, so I'll just write some of what it says. ''A video uploaded to youtube Sunday warned about a explotion in Oslo 22. July. The title of the video was <Wybuch w Oslo - Explosion in Oslo - 22.07.2011. Wybuch> Wybuch means explotion in Polish(Don't know how to spell that, the language they speak in Poland, lol)

That's what I would do. My thoughts are with the Norse today, I've been to Norway once and it was beautiful.. I'm sad now. This makes me sick. What kind of culture is it to do such things? Troops from all over the world are "fighting for democracy and human rights", yet some people say such things like you did.

Perhaps a domestic group? Perhaps an individual? Or, perhaps it was not an attack at all - doubt that though. I am surprised of the timing: 1. 15.00 hours is closing of work hours in the government during summer, so that would mean less people in the government buildings. 2. We are in the middle of summer vacation, so that would HEAVILY mean less people in those buildings in the first hand. Apart from that, they picked an obvious target for this bombing, right at the heart of our governmental power.
