Done it some times lately, I don't feel much different when at a house party, but its terribly boring going to a night club (I don't like dancing aswell, but drunk and picking up girls its actually fun). I also get bored and sleepy after 2-3 hours sometimes, even if I was having fun initialy. | ||

I picked up practically all girls I've dated in the past (with the exception of one, the total was 4) with something I'd call "endurance strategy" or something. I'm terrible at smalltalking or talking to girls, my looks are not that bad but not very good either (I'm a little fat), so I usually take a really casual approach and only talk to girls that are somehow inside my social circle, and with whom I at least am in the same room a couple of times per month (this helps because then it's not awkward to talk to the girls at all and it's somewhat easier to get things to talk about which are not completely superficial and smalltalk) and try to get their phone number or some IM numbers. I usually get "rejected" - meaning that after a lengthy bit of conversations stretched over a couple of times seeing those persons in random occasions or chatting with them on the internet, I ask them for a date and they either reject or they accept and then cancel the date (this is how it literally has been with all the girls I've met, and I don't know what that is). What I do then is, I simply "keep pushing". I keep making my intentions clear to them in a playful way and asking them out on dates from time to time - not in a obvious way and not every day or every time we have a conversation or something, but I bring the topic up at least once a week. I do this even if they have verbally stated that they have no current plans of doing anything with me. So far, this has worked out every single time, since at one point they just say yes and set up a date with me, none of which have so far gone bad (even though I'm always super excited and pretty damn silent the first 5 mins or so of the date). I'm currently trying to conquer the heart of the 5th girl, and the pattern actually repeats, which is quite funny since it's the first time I'm actually consciously experiencing it. My question is, why does this work? It seems to go against all principles of picking up girls, since I'm quite certain that at some points in those conversations I come of as quite needy or at least as "easy". | ||

Why do you think that you come of as "needy"? If your method is working, then there is simply nothing to worry about that. In short to your question, you are the one leading the conversation, being assertive and being funny about it. Girls adore those qualities of a leader. So that is why "game" works. | ||

1. Chicks representing vendors / companies / hired guns. 2. Chicks who who do 6 months of cardio to look sexy for their cosplay costume. 3. The Mexican chicks working the icecream booths lol. 4. Girlfriends of Blizzard and other video game employees. I wore my fancy pants and going out shoes. My fucking god they hurt like a bitch. But the typical dude at Blizzcon are the epitome of never getting laid. Its like one look and the girls would put them in a category of AFC. One of my friend is a Blizzard Employee, who actually hooked me up with a ticket. But the thing is, they have a HUGE social status advantage at Blizzcon. It is ridiculous how much social proof they get. Keep in mind, a lot of guys who work at Blizzard are successful young guys in their 20s and 30's who also are actually quite decent at game (the pickup kind). I went to dinner with one that actually brought a girl back. Okay, nobody cares about that, we just wanna see pictures right? LOL Caught this girl taking notes and asking ppl questions on the cosplay effects in different cultures. I told her there was a party that night at the Hiltons and that she should come and I asked her whats a good way to get a hold of her. She gives me her business card. I give her a weird look. And I am like "so yeah... you want me a to fax you later?" in a smirk manner. I do a body rock and go, here, just give me your number. I look for a pen to write it down and she just tells me to put it in the phone. I tried to find her in the party later but she had to stay with her Razer crew to film some stupid Starcraft match the guy was MMA? My friend's older sister who I've always been attracted to also like pats me on the shoulder or head (sitting in a chair at a desk in the pathway to the kitchen) as she walks by and smiles and seems genuinely happy to see me and says hi etc. Otherwise she gives me a hug if I'm standing (if her brother, my good friend, isn't around). The other girl, my younger sisters old friend whom I've known for over 10 years and always been attracted to as well. I'm friends with all her friends and same people etc. Whenever I see her she does one of two things. Either is distracted or feigning it, and ignores me until I get her attention. Or she comes right up and hugs me (usually when shes drunk, or getting there). Either way when she hugs me she gives me a tight hug, not your typical loose friend hug and sometimes she'll give me a little rub on the back,side, belly area while she does it. These seem like IOIs to me but I get other signals that seem to contradict. Is there some kind of non IOI kino that chicks do that don't really mean anything? BTW- the latter girl, I just found out seems to like brown and dark skinned guys only. And I was sort of poking fun at her about it when her friends were like 'kelly only likes black guys'. Is this an obstacle easy to overcome if I try to pursue her? Like I said I've sort of had a mild crush on her for a long time, and we have a lot of the same interests and ideals, and we are both goofy and funny. but we don't really hang out or anything and whenever I send her a random message she seems to usually ignore it. I kinda get the feeling she likes me but doesn't want to or something. Almost forgot to mention, share shares a bed/room with a girl I dated for a few weeks that she works with. | ||
