And you'll get a much better fit. But if you insist on finding one. Go for thin lapels and a thin tie at the very least. It looks more casual. Or if you are fucking baller get double breasted with wide lapels but very few ppl pull that off. Done thread hijacking. Have fun. Also, save your money and get Dior jeans. Trust me. Getcher moneys worth in terms of fit imo, but you had damn well better be in good shape. | ||

Different strokes bro, go up to a lawyer and ask him how productive it would be to play Starcraft for 7 hours a week. You can argue the same about any hobby. Who cares what people do with their free time? Except PUAs use the type of women they score to define themselves, where as I play Starcraft to define myself. Being in NYC, I have the privilege many amazing women, as well as those with high status. I've dated every race (yep, including blacks and native Americans, a marvelous way to learn their culture). They are drawn to me because the way I can broaden their horizon, and I wouldn't consider using them for a second to define myself as a person (the experience of dating them, however, contribute to how I see myself in this world). | ||

Of course, you have to know what to look for. You wouldn't catch me in a lot of shit they wear, but that's up to you. In my opinion, it's down to some of the basics. 3 pairs of jeans: dark blue (indigo I believe), black, and a light pair. Make sure your shirt fits ( I believe topman has an awesome fitting guide, but you can find it on fashion beans). Get some nice shoes. They can be sneakers, trainers, or whatever the shit you wanna call em, just make sure their classy and uh... don't clash with your style (Running shoes on a suit or something, for instance). I'd go with dark shoes for this case, but many people like white. Bam. Pretty much done. Or you can wear a polo and some ripped jeans if you want, it doesn't really matter all that much. I seriously doubt you are a lawyer or have had any experiences with women whatsoever. Not a lawyer. I am just a man who radiates positive influence to those around me, inspire them to achieve more and reach higher. If getting more women is your life goal, I have no problem with that, just merely pointing out attractiveness can come from "within" or be mimiced. And for the record, I don't ever "game" women. I simply introduce them to a wonderful person. | ||

As I have previously described myself, I have no problem going out and having a good time, approaching women, holding conversations. I have, at this point I think decent social skills. However, I have gotten to where I am entirely through DOING, rather than reading or thinking or any "active" process. I suppose I took the approach of working on my "inner game" (at this point, I'm rolling in the confidence. I'll admit, I come off as a cocky asshole to girls who aren't ready for me... but I like it that way.) If I were to take this more seriously (I haven't read a single pickup book/article. Everything I know, comes from threads like these) where would you suggest to start? I'm not interested in going all out and recording conversations... but I would like to start doing a touch more analysis, understanding. I want to take a more "active" role towards improving myself socially. | ||

Moron a lot of us have very inept social skills that create very awkward moments and girls feel very uncomfortable in silence when you don't have a good solid relationship already. The game simply gives a lot of us key points to hit in these awkward moments so that the conversation flows more naturally for us. Also going in with a plan alleviates the anxiety a lot because you know you have stuff to go to and talk about and not just winging it. | ||

If you already got decent game and your verbal skills are good, you probably want to do some reading to get through your sticking points and also some basic structure of game. For example, its a good idea to isolate and then qualify. And its also a good idea to qualify, ie, tell a girl why you like her before you start heavily escalating. Qualification is huge. A good qualification will hit a girl hard. You can see a shift in their eyes. But a lot of times, when a guy who doesn't do any reading and purely goes out will actually decrease in skill level initially because the reading fucks them up because its in their head. That is to be expected and you should quickly rise again. Just dont take everything dogmatic. Try it and if works, keep it, if it doesnt work, try something else. | ||

Let me put it this way, when someone spend way too much time to "pick up", which is akin to spend hours and hours learning how to perform surgical ties, one may be able to tie very well, but he or she neglect the true substance in the art of surgery. A PUA often neglects the real substance of life that they are supposed to getting. | ||

The reality is that many men are afraid of talking to women. No woman can appreciate a friendly nerdy starcraft player if he's afraid to even say hi. I don't see the harm in having a network that encourages men to go up and say hi, or gives them tools to break the ice. I think the idea that everyone involved in PUA communities is trying to get laid 6 nights a week is inaccurate. | ||

He can say all the right things, at all the right times, tell everyone exactly what they should do when it comes to life improvement...When he's behind his keyboard, atleast. Funny to find something about PUA here at TL, it really is a fun community to be with if you give it some time, you really don't need the books or the coaches or whatever, to me it's just a bunch of guys trying to improve in all aspects of life they deem they need improvement in, for me and a few others, who've been basement dwelling game addicts for a large part of their life (Admittedly, I still love being one) One of these areas is the skill of good social interaction with women. Beyond grabbing your balls and walking up to a girl and having a basic understanding of body language and such though, nobody should really have to help you or teach anything you anything, save for the occasional foot up your ass the first few times you don't dare to walk up to someone, most stuff should come more naturally then most people expect. | ||
