I never drink. Been going out for 10 months. Some times I'll sip a girls drink just to taste it but pretty much 100% sober. It keeps your game sharp and improvement up.

Is there any way to regain innocence? These past two years I sold my soul for pussy, and exposed myself to so much burdening that I never even know existed. I just want to be a boy again, and forget all this stuff I learned. I used to be a optimistic boy and you could see the light in my eyes, I had dreams and ambitions, I wasn't scouting for hook-ups and I was innocent - even girl friends I would only hug with one hand. Now I'm cynical, uninterested, unaroused, overanalyzing my conversations, burdened by the stuff I know about girls, and I am scared I will never have my boyish innocence back. I know you can never regain your innocence, but I don't have great memory, maybe that is my one saving grace?
edit: forgot to mention I'm also such a douche now. It's like I am entitled to people being nice to me without me doing anything. When I was a boy I used to be a super nice guy

Okay so you were using "game". Like any other "game" out there, there happen to be a point where you will be bored of it. So what you do in that situation? Take a break from the game until your memory of what it feels like play. And then after a certain amount of time, you will want to taste the same satisfaction again. So take a break from girls and focus on other aspect of your life until you can regain that desire.

Another situation I thought of today that I'm not sure how I feel about it and really goes out to those in college. What do y'all think about picking up during lecture/lab? Today I was in open anatomy lab and it is set up with two rooms, one immediate room you walk in, and another backroom with a lot of microscopes that can see the front of the lab. I grabbed my slide box, looked at my slides, put it back, and walked back into the room. As soon as I did I made eye contact with some HB Cute, who immediately looked away and started smiling. I later walked out to get my stuff and noticed she kept glancing my way.
I know this is a major hint to go in for the kill, but I always followed the philosophy of don't fuck where you learn. Mostly because I'd be annoyed as fuck if I was trying to really work or pay attention to a lecture and some chick was hitting on me. It has happened before, don't give me that bullshit bro line. I'm on scholarships and gotta keep my grades up. Plus, I like learning and not being a jackass to professors. But maybe I just wasn't interested in the lady, I dunno.

Meh i pretty much get trashed everytime i go out. Then again this is mostly at college bars and parties mine and my friends house parties so if i was sober (and i have been before) it's pretty awkward/boring/annoying. Guess thats part of college though. I pull off some ridiculous shit when i'm drunk i would have never thought of sober. But if i was sober i wouldn't be picking up drunk chicks so i guess it's a moot point.

I love it. Such an easy place to meet girls, automatically have something in common/stuff to talk about, easy way to find reasons to hang out with girls. And it's a great way to kill time in class.

So my first suggestion would be to have a drink in your hand, just make it a soda water, cranberry juice, sprite, whatever. Give yourself something to sip on (non-alcoholic obviously). This definitely helps you not feel so weird. My favorite drink: "triple water on the rocks".
The second is to just be straight up and honest when people ask you where your drink is or why you aren't drinking. I just say "I quit drinking, or I'm the DD for the night." Whatever works for you. And definitely focus on talking to a ton of people. What you will find is if you are socializing all night, sober, you will forget that you are sober at all. You'll get into the zone, or "state" as RSD likes to call it. By the end of the night if you've socialized a ton you may even feel like you are "drunk", but you aren't, you're stone cold sober.
After experiencing a good night or two sober, you realize you don't need to drink and the reason you drink (to be loose and able to socialize) is no longer necessary - you can do it sober. The savings in money alone is worth it.

I've been reading practicalpickup (postmasculine.com previous site) for a long time and really like the authors way of approaching attraction with women. Not only do I think this is one of the better sites for this, but it also is done to promote healthy self improvement without the use of regular PUA bullshit. I bought his ebook and it does have significant insight which I think men who are struggling with women/dating/relationships should check out. While Neil Strauss' "The Game" make PUA mainstream, a lot of the PUA material is unhealthy, manipulative, non authentic to yourself and others, and plain shitty.

Basically, I took it as not are (some) girls whores because they want to be whores, but also you really allow yourself to relax and just be yourself when you're drunk/smashed/hammered. For some reason, people tend to hide their true selves a lot of the time. Hell I've been doing it lately to an extent (but I've had enough of that ). Drinking brings these things out in a lot of people, who can't seem to do it otherwise. Too judgemental of themselves. Maybe it is an even unconscious thing. Who knows.
Just figured I'd share though :D In my opinion, it can sometimes be a pretty challenging thing to do for a lot of people.
But I also agree with the decaf that college parties can be pretty awkward/boring/annoying when sober too. I DD a lot (mostly because I don't care to drink), so I've been there a lot. So eh. [Edit 2] Also, like decaf said. I don't really like picking up drunk chicks being sober.

Yeah, like I said I like Mark a lot. I'll probably be buying his book within the next couple of months. I agree with a lot of what you are saying as well; there is a lot of solid advice on inner game and all that, but the rest of it is somewhat iffy and depends on where you look.
I also absolutely despise the fact that many seem to say the hotter the bish, the more shit tests she will use. Which means that everything a 10 (which I've been trying to get rid of using the HB system. I saw this on seddit and I think marks. I try to go by HB not, HB cute, and HB attractive) would say is just a shit test. Every. Time. I think that is bullshit really.
But I was going to be doing the stylelife challenge. At least, that was my plan. From what I've heard from a lot of people, it isn't really... worth it in the end.

Then I stumble across this girl who is a hired gun at the Razer booth. LOL this girl was so hooked, she ignored the other customers and talked to me for 30 minutes. Then later that day, I went to the Steelseries booth and bought their Sensai mouse. I'm such a traitor lol! Anyways, it turns out she lives out near San Diego so I am going to try and Day 2 her later. I told her there was a party that night at the Hiltons and that she should come and I asked her whats a good way to get a hold of her. She gives me her business card. I give her a weird look. And I am like "so yeah... you want me a to fax you later?" in a smirk manner. I do a body rock and go, here, just give me your number. I look for a pen to write it down and she just tells me to put it in the phone. I tried to find her in the party later but she had to stay with her Razer crew to film some stupid Starcraft match the guy was MMA? Fuck you Starcraft you fucking cock blocked me!!! The rest of the night was pretty gay. Fucking hotel was filled with Blizzard employees gaming the rest of the girls. Can't really do much against crazy social status and social proof there. But still the girls ratio was so crap that even if they weren't there, it still would have been a crappy night. So in other words you failed and blamed everything and everyone else but yourself. I fail a lot. Probably upwards of 2000 times this year. Its one of those things you gotta accept in pickup respect for you dude! Any tips on getting Asian girls? Is there a difference from picking up white chicks?
