I see PUA as power, and like any kind of power it has the capacity to be used for good or bad. I'm not gonna be afraid to study it just because some douchebags use it irresponsibly and fuck up people's emotions. It's not game that's wrong; it's the player.
Edit: As for the drinking discussion earlier, I very rarely drink enough to get drunk and I have a higher success rate (and hotter girls) than my friends who always get hammered... one of my buddies pointed that out and now he doesn't drink either when he's trying to game. In general drinking helps with approach anxiety but it makes you sloppy and less perceptive.

So this little promise I made to myself last week I fucking kept tonight. Did my best to just be social as fuck, didn't really care. Although it wasn't that hard, I knew a majority of the people at the party. Real shit is tomorrow.
But I also didn't really approach. I didn't have the urge to until the end, where I was talking to some chick I went on a double date with back in the day (and her friend). Basically, I just wanted to force myself to make conversation. And really, it went a lot smoother than I thought. A few awkward pauses here and there, but who gives a flying fuck.
My "problem" is now I feel pressured to talk to everybody. And make them have a good time. Shit is retarded. I dunno why, but that is the mentality I am getting and I don't like it. I shouldn't have to feel like I need to approach EVERYONE. Just who I fucking want to. But it is a fine line between that and being a bitch who is scared to make moves, and I rather do the former than the latter.
Also, didn't drink. NBD, I didn't want to. and I still had a good time. I wasn't saying it is impossible in my earlier post or something, and I probably won't be drinking too hard tomorrow either.

Agreed - we all have the freedom to develop and use (or exploit lol) it in the ways we see fit in our own beliefs.

No, I can pretty much socialize with anyone. Esp. if I put forth the effort. I've gotten compliments on how well I can keep a conversation, and the girls I was on dates with (Well at least one  ) had a fun time due to only our conversation.

Welp, good time tonight. Went to a frat party (one of my chick friends has a boyfriend that goes there. Love them sorrostitutes lol)
Anyways, I met up with some chicks that dance (ballerinas) there and start dancing with one of em that I was talking to last year. then she left since school ended. We danced and talked for awhile. I was trying to get a little mouth action besides words, but she either didn't get it, or I wasn't assertive enough. But I wasn't about to try and force shit on a drunk chick when I was dead sober. Or I'm just bein' a bitch.
On another note, dancing is somewhat dumb. I rather of chilled and talked. But I am happy with how my conversations go when I'm one on one. Some awkward pauses every now and then, but few and far between. I can really keep a conversation flowin'. And keep 'em somewhat sexual. Probably need to up it a little bit more, just depends on my mood. Not something I'm concerned with at all right now.
Keep a decent amount of kino. I'm pretty decent at it. Had my hand on her lower back a lot.
On a side note, the things I would do to her roommate. Gat dayum. Caught her staring once. But I'll take it one dancer at a time.

It's amazing how far the basic concepts can go here - A little social proof, a little qualification, a little teasing, a little escalation... and I have no idea the term for it, but keeping game going across multiple "encounters" - seeing her one night, having a good time, seeing her the next weekend, having a hell of a lot BETTER time, etc. Let a girl know (without saying it) that you realize just how much power you hold on to in any interaction, and she melts on you.
Carried around a box of Franzia with my halloween costume last night; strapped it over my shoulder with my guitar strap and a wire coathanger, it was magic. Instantly made me the most popular guy at each of the three parties I was at - and I was laughing and having fun the whole time, letting whoever drink. I had the personality to back up what was going on around me, so I basically WAS the party last night. I was invited back to two different girls rooms, and I've been reminded by people I don't even know, about plans that I made with them for the coming week. Made quite the impression on friends and strangers alike... and the two girls I'm interested in right now enjoyed the night to. I didn't get to spend much time talking to either of them because I was busy "going where the night took me" but I can't say that that was a mistake anyway.

I'd say that if you get her drunk for the purposes of sleeping with her then yeah it's wrong. But if she's already drunk it's probably okay. That being said, I just avoid the whole dilemma by not going after drunk chicks; I'm not really into sloppy, puking, blackout drunk girls no matter how hot they are. Classy's the way to go.

You feel kind of dirty at the idea because you have a conscience, so +1 for that. You can approach a drunk and get some kind of conversation, but the conversation will probably be stupid.
I wouldn't hook up with a drunk because I want someone to actually hook up with me because they think I'm awesome - not because they're super drunk and would hump any guy in sight. I think it's different when both parties are drunk, but if a hookup occurs when one person is sober and the other is drunk there's definitely some shady grey area "taking advantage of" crap going on that's just not worth it.
