For people to stop derailing the "Bin Laden Is Dead" thread and getting banned even though the mods made it clear that no conspiracy theories are allowed ive created this topic to debate about those conspiracies that have been emerging since the OBL death.
I wanted to make a blog about this, but i cant seem to find where to create a blog so i made this a new topic; anyway there is someone with some status that is willing to stand before a jury about this:
Top Government Insider: Bin Laden Died In 2001
Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State under three different administrations Steve R. Pieczenik says he is prepared to tell a federal grand jury the name of a top general who told him directly 9/11 was a false flag attack
Top US government insider Dr. Steve R. Pieczenik, a man who held numerous different influential positions under three different Presidents and still works with the Defense Department, shockingly told The Alex Jones Show yesterday that Osama Bin Laden died in 2001 and that he was prepared to testify in front of a grand jury how a top general told him directly that 9/11 was a false flag inside job.
Pieczenik cannot be dismissed as a “conspiracy theorist”. He served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State under three different administrations, Nixon, Ford and Carter, while also working under Reagan and Bush senior, and still works as a consultant for the Department of Defense. A former US Navy Captain, Pieczenik achieved two prestigious Harry C. Solomon Awards at the Harvard Medical School as he simultaneously completed a PhD at MIT.
Recruited by Lawrence Eagleburger as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Management, Pieczenik went on to develop, “the basic tenets for psychological warfare, counter terrorism, strategy and tactics for transcultural negotiations for the US State Department, military and intelligence communities and other agencies of the US Government,” while also developing foundational strategies for hostage rescue that were later employed around the world.

Report: Bin Laden Already Dead
Usama bin Laden has died a peaceful death due to an untreated lung complication, the Pakistan Observer reported, citing a Taliban leader who allegedly attended the funeral of the Al Qaeda leader.
"The Coalition troops are engaged in a mad search operation but they would never be able to fulfill their cherished goal of getting Usama alive or dead," the source said.
Bin Laden, according to the source, was suffering from a serious lung complication and succumbed to the disease in mid-December, in the vicinity of the Tora Bora mountains. The source claimed that bin Laden was laid to rest honorably in his last abode and his grave was made as per his Wahabi belief.
About 30 close associates of bin Laden in Al Qaeda, including his most trusted and personal bodyguards, his family members and some "Taliban friends," attended the funeral rites. A volley of bullets was also fired to pay final tribute to the "great leader."
The Taliban source who claims to have seen bin Laden's face before burial said "he looked pale ... but calm, relaxed and confident."

There's also an ex official who is unswerving in his assertion that the US government has been in contact with aliens for the past ~60 years. I don't know what the deal with these people is but they're probably simply real life trolls.

Hey guys, I heard the Moon landing was fake as well. Oh, and Elvis is hiding out in Area 51 with the other 4 JFK shooters.
Just don't tell anyone I said anything.
But really, why would I read some stupid article on a random guy's blog? How can you even consider that to come close to meeting the standards for journalistic integrity? Come on.

Well, I don't know about everyone else, but 9/11 being a false flag attack is completely obvious IMO and has been for years. A poll done by CNN showed that something ridiculous like over 70% of Americans believe that 9/11 was all staged. I'll have to go find that source. But as for Bin Laden, I have no idea. No evidence has really shown that he is or isn't dead, other than what the government is telling us.

I read an article that osamas death would be hard to fake.... let me find it

Most conspiracy theories are a bit crazy but its just as crazy to dismiss all of them. Governments have a spy agency for a reason. I personally believe Osama did die, possibly earlier, possibly during the operation. Really though it makes no difference. He already accomplished his goals of destroying Americas economy and rallying Muslims to hate America, albeit indirectly with the help of bush, but he still did it
p.s. maybe people derailing this thread should be a bannable offense for doing the exact same thing they preach in the other thread.

It's not, it's making up numbers as usual.
By far, the vast majority of Americans believe that 9/11 was a terrorist attack

This was what I was thinking.
The major problem I'm having with the whole "He was already dead"-thing is that Bush would have published it because 1. It boosts ratings and 2. It's awesome to have on your records, as Obama will now have. I'm not sure how you're going to dismiss this. If it's "Well Bush didn't know about it!" then you probably need to throw away the constitution and the whole government apparatus and create something new, should it be true.

I'm fairly sure that "The Alex Jones Show" as a source to your post invalidates the remainder of your post as hogwash. It's like sourcing The National Enquirer.

If you do ANY research on the 9/11 attacks, it is blatantly obvious that the American government did it. At least IMO it is pretty fucking obvious. But, do the research for yourself and don't trust me. And Bin Laden is such a controversial issue on whether to release a picture of his corpse. I have heard talk shows talking about it. I mean we can assume conspiracy, been dead or isn't dead. Just a big news story for American patriotism. OR It could be true and the truth is Obama doesn't wanna release the pictures of a bullet ridden corpse of the leader of the largest terrorist movement in the world.... So it's hard to say for me.

You might consider conspiracy theories unlikely to be true but there's no reason to dismiss them. There are "dumber" threads in the General Forums.
Plus, if people didn't want the original "osama"-thread filled with conspiracy theories then this thread is great!

If the mods have made it clear they do not want threads about conspiracy theories, why did you make one? Also i read what you have and none of them are really that feasible at all. Trust me, if they had OBL before now, that president (George Bush) would have announced it in order to gain good publicity, just like Obama is doing now.
|
There's a much better case for Osama being dead after 2004 than in Dec 2001. There's an even better case for Osama being today in 2011 than in 2004.
Some of his tapes made in that 2004 time period referenced major current events at the time and were independently verified to be Osama. There's simply no way he died in Dec 2001.

Operation Northwoods
Operation Northwoods was a series of false-flag operation proposals that originated within the United States government in 1962. The proposals called for Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) or other operatives to commit acts of terrorism in U.S. cities and elsewhere. These acts of terrorism were to be blamed on Cuba in order to create public support for a war against that nation, which had recently become communist under Fidel Castro.[2] One part of Operation Northwoods was to "develop a Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities and even in Washington."

You know what bothers me with this stuff? I do mean all of it, 9/11, moonlanding and now this Osama died here, he was dead, hes alive or whatever halfbaked theory people come up with in the end it just ruins the tragedy or accomplishment of the event.
This kind of stuff is often no better then writing your name on a memorial for the victims of 9/11 to try and be remembered in some vein effort to latch onto the event that is far greater then they are. Then you have the ones just pushing the agenda they want to further.
If they have proof, show it. Don't give me these articles that say "he's willing to show proof" or a source from Pakistani newspaper that ten to one was just trying to throw people off the trail because they just so happened to be housing the bastard. Of course they are going to say he's dead. Pakistan has been playing the razor edge of working with and against the US sense they saw what we did with Iraq and Afghanistan.
|
to all the people believing the conspiracy theories, now ask yourself this very question : if all they wanted was a reason to start a war with these guys (for what reason ? afghanistan has NOTHING, irak was attacked for another reason and getting rid of saddam was a good reason anyways), could they not have found another way to do that, other than killing 3000 people, in front of everyone ? they could have said they defused a terorist attack that was supposed to blow up a football stadium with a nuclear bomb or whatever story they could have invented, say that they dont want to be attacked on their ground and LET'S GO!? you guys are smart enough,im sure of it, to invent hundreds of other things that did not involve the death of thousands in front of the world's cameras.

Although part of the U.S. government's Cuban Project anti-communist initiative, Operation Bertstare was never officially accepted and the proposals included in the plan were never executed.

The key word there is proposals. The project was, as the wikipedia page you quoted conveniently says, "never officially accepted and the proposals included in the plan were never executed."
Edit: Double ninja'd.

ImFromPortugal, not sure if that helps your case. Citing those proposals is no more than saying the idea can be tossed around. (That has already been done in the thread, surely adding precendence is redundant.) Those proposals were both rejected and condemned. Why the hell would it be any different in this case? How could you think it could?
Edit: ooooooo boy. Clearly not the thread for me.

Ok, you yourself explain why it makes sense that the two towers are among the only sky scrapers to fall from fire, the fire was hugely intense due to the fuel that was still there. And that's also ignoring the damaging effects OF A PLANE FLYING INTO IT. Dear God, if you don't believe than an intense fire with the combination of a plane hitting a sky scraper are enough to bring it down, then you you are a blind fool.

I actually found a thread on prisonplanet stating that my Network Science professor was an agent in a vast conspiracy dedicated to controlling the lives of the American people because he did a study extrapolating physical proximity social networks from cell phone data. I asked him about it in class for laughs.

Citing a 2001 Fox article at a time when it was good strategy for Bin Laden to appear dead. Citing a disreputable talk show. Citing an old military plan that was rejected. Citing fake statistics.
Do you actually have any real proof?
I'm pretty sure that is a requirement for a thread here.

Here's the thing. If you're crazy and want to believe the US government was responsible for 9/11 or that Osama died in 2001 and two administrations have covered it up, then fine. But don't do it on this forum.
You don't get freedom of speech here, and we don't want to harbor these shit storms. Judge us all you want, this isn't the forum for your suspicions.

People who are "in on this" - Anyone who had any contact with analyzing satelitte footage of the location over the last 3-4 years. Every special activities op who was gathering intel/turning locals to try to find him. - Every interrogator who wrote reports linking the courier to KSM, OBL etc. - Every member of JSOC. (~4000 strong) - Every presidential advisor and aid who was in the room or watching the footage unfold. - Everyone on the carrier who saw the body come off the aircraft and were around the ceremony. - Everyone who saw the body come out of the helicopter at the JSOC base where his body was unloaded and analysed. - Bin Ladens wife and children and the "survivors" (ACTORS OMG) who were in the compound. All of their families who talked to them afterwards. - Every citizen of abattobhad including people who were twittering live as is was happening (clearly the CIA set this twitter account up years ago just in case!) -----
If you've ever served in any government branch, let alone the military you'd understand how incredibly difficult it is for things to move efficiently and quietly. People talk - even to their peers. It's quite humorous that people rarely are able to come up with well supported conspiracy theories BEFORE the actual story comes out.
