Nestea based on results but honestly there are so many zerg players that are quite close to each other in skill level. Look at Mondragon for example, he could definately be up there if he just made some better tactical decisions during games.

So many players seem to do stuff not because its good but because it fits their plan. "I'm going to be super aggressive this game" -> proceed to drop in tight choke over and over, transition into having no army. I think LosirA has a good chance of getting to the top or close to it.

Zeru, you are just making yourself look retarted (like always). Copy-pasting results on online cups and using them as a proof of consistency is beyond lols. Keep on trying hard to look smart, you never will.

Ret / Haypro / Huk / TLO / Jinro haven't stayed long in korea?
You follow the korean scene obviously and chat up with korean players on msn all the time too, right?

"lol definatly not idra." - any bias at all?

Yea Idra is acknowledged has a beast of a player, that doesn't mean he is feared of course, it just means he is cute?? - wait what?????

He may be, but he hasn't won anything, except that Minigun showmatch as far as I know.

Being popular doesn't make you a contender to be the best player in the world, and although Spanishiwa is a great player and is trying his hardest to revolutionize the race, he still needs to show up to tournaments and do well to be considered a top player.

This thread isn't asking for style, it's asking for results. What results have this so called idra revolutionized play produced in the past month?

It really depends on what you view as the best. If you want the best based off recent results? July/Losira. The best based off overall accomplishments? Nestea.

I feel losira is the strongest currently, however with who is next opponent is in code S I can't see him getting past Ro16. A lot of these players have been at the height of their race, but it's constantly changing. Overall, I should probably say Nestea, but atm, no. I'm looking forward to seeing more of violet in Code A, he looked great.

Don't think a lot of people like MC's attitude yet everyone agrees that he's the best right now. People don't think idra is the best zerg because... wait for it... he's not the best zerg and isn't as feared, consistent and good as Nestea, Losira, Dimaga. People disliking someone doesn't make them ignorant of their results and skill, however apparently being a fanboy of them does in some cases.

You can't seriously put Dimaga in with Losira, NesTea and IdrA just because of the GSL WC, can you? Your point is about consistency, but what else has Dimaga done before that? The guy used to love baneling all-ins. Not a good pick for "consistent".

Hes won more tournaments than al of them so why not be able to compere him?

quanitity =/= quality. Until Dimaga wins something big, I don't think he's anywhere near the top. He's just riding a hype-train from his wins in the GSL WC.

What so called results have ANY zerg put up recently? The only things are very specific GSL match-ups or obscure online tournaments or even like a simple clan in-house. NO Zerg is putting up results right now, which is why I think there's basically no "king" at this point. (If any, it's still Nestea) I'm just sick of the "creativity" and "results" argument, because quite frankly no Zerg in the world is really doing that right now.

I voted for Nestea. I don't take his games vs Goody seriously at all for a reason I won't specifically mention but anyone should know. Last season he lost to San who has now proven himself one of the best protoss in the world and it was an extremely close game. He then lost to Ensnare but I really hate taking results into account right after losing a game against a different player. I feel like Nestea would never lose to Ensnare in a bo3 under normal circumstances. In the WC's he lost to Dimaga who is a very good player. Dimaga got a build order win and even with Nestea's ZvZ record it is still a very volatile matchup. They are also still technically 2-2 overall.

jinro is a beast of a player, is he feared? i wouldn't say he is, no matter how much of a fan of him i am. You cant compare jinro to mvp, just like you cant compare idra to nestea. its just silly in my eyes and thats not because i dislike idras mindset towards the game.

Your such a champion for records, results and consistency, yet your memory failed you when it comes to jinro.

Jinro lost 0-2 to white-ra in dreamhack, 0-2 to anypro in WC, 0-1 to July in korea Vs world, and 1-2 IdrA in gcpl. 1-2 to Hongun in GSL march (in da 2nd round aka ro16) and 0-2 before that in gcpl vs select (these are in chronological order) cough consistency cough.

Also Terran have a clear race King, aka MVP and a prince MKP. Zergs don't have such cut&clear figurehead this is mainly due to how well other races are performing while zerg is still not doing so good.

Zerg feels very unstable as a race unlike terran or protoss it is harder to see who is better atm.

I'd say IdrA. As the king, many of his followers reflect and mimic his personality. If IdrA doesn't see solutions, many zergs look to him and decide there isn't a solution either.

But in all seriousness, I'm a big IdrA fan and enjoy watching him play over other zergs. I like how straight forward he is in his analysis and his personality has grown on me.
