They are both different in many ways. Also NASL can't fit to 3 weeks just like GSL considering it have EUR, CAN, USA, KOR and SEA players

If you don´t see it clear your cache/cookies (I had the case that the site didn´t actualise when going through browser history). When buying the ticket theres a field where you must write "presalenasl", the discount isn´t shown on the site, just when you check your bank account. Check http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=207744 for informations, I didn´t bye a ticket myself. This is correct, but the $20 does show up in your email receipt as well.

In Pricepool Distribution that´s also one of the most discussed point. Therefor I put that comparison in the op to provide a bit more than pure informations.

Their website doesn't even tell you what day/time the broadcast starts last I checked which means that to tell my friends about NASL I have to link them to random TL threads which can't be good for business. All that aside though I am super pumped for NASL ![]() As a business any time you have customers asking questions like this On April 08 2011 02:16 Hunterai wrote: Just a question, where do you buy this "pre-sale" pass for NASL? I've been searching a bit and really could not find it. Probably my own stupidity but would really appreciate any help. you can be 100% sure you are leaving money on the table.

It says the tickets include replays but I cant get anyone to actually confirm it ![]() When the official site says replays are included, what other confirmation do you want/would you believe? But can you please tell me where it is stated? Would be nice to quote if the question comes.

You are right, I asked Xeris per PM and got the answer: From: Xeris [ 12974 posts | Profile | Buddy | Report ] Subject: Re: Replays included in NASL ticket? Date: 4/8/11 06:02 Hey, we were originally debating whether or not to release replays to our paid subscribers, but we're not going to be able to do that. We're going to be doing something more creative with our replays that we think the community will enjoy! Thanks for the fast answer Xeris, I´m very curious ![]()

Anyway, it seems it's a bit too late now. But still, 25$ for a tons of VODs is more than a good deal :-)

The wording by Xeris implies that they can't; I'm just curious why? Also, what's the "more creative" idea?

Because they don't want someone else taking the replays, casting it themselves and putting it on Youtube so people who didn't get a subscription can go watch those instead of paying.

I'm pretty sure that's not why. It has something to do with the legality of charging money for in-game content. As the creator and distributor of the NASL broadcast, they are free to charge for video on demand of that broadcast. But the replays are not NASL's property, they are played on Battle.net and charging people for access to something that cannot be copyrighted is a gray area.

But part of the whole perk to NASL was their production value. The quality of THEIR casters. The editing of the cast. That's exactly what you're paying for with your ticket, and you won't get that kind of quality with another caster that doesn't have the resources NASL has. So if someone else casts a replay that's released; they won't get what you paid to get with your NASL ticket. That's at least how I've always viewed the NASL access. Kind of how you can get a bootleg version of a movie that just came out....but you could pay money to see it on the big screen, with amazing sound, and amazing quality. And people pay for that all the time. I'd pay for that too. I'd just also like to go back, after watching an amazing match, and analyze game specifics that you can only get from a replay.
