"i wish i had diamond size of a truck on my backyard, i wish bill gates gives half of his money on my bank account.." it's pragmatic esp with the gene being vengeful, it's also a bit more then just a wealth wish it's a redistribution of wealth wish. I could have easily just wish for the power to manipulate anything and everything to how i see fit with perfect control over the power, that i would receive the power upon the completion of the sentence.

There will be no obligational on my part to do anything with this money nor will the money be ever linked to anything that can cause me to be blamed for wrong doing(illegal acts) or cause me to lose the money. The money will be presented on live news television that will be broadcasted at least on one network news channel at which point the gene will be transported 2599 years into the future. The gene may only change the will of the million and billionaires that will create this contest with my place in the winners circle. Any involvement of meddling outside of these affairs by the gene will cause a break of this agreement upon which the gene to be tortured for the rest of eternity this can never be undone nor can the gene ever die from this as that would not constitute as torture. You wish to win a contest, and be the sixth to win it? Why not just wish to win some jackpot on the lottery? Either way the dollar won't be worth the paper it's printed on once the 6th price is handled out, genie or no genie ;D

Okay I've had enough fun in this thread - no more replies from me, lol. Why would the lawyer betray me? I thought only the genie would try to do some cheesy stuff. This is along the lines of after wish X a lighting bolt comes down and kills you instantly. This scenario can be used for any wish... whats the point.

Why would the lawyer listen to your demands when you just gave him the power to wish anything he wants? A better way to prepare for your wish is to become a lawyer yourself, then write up your own wish. ![]()

I just needed to set up a safety net to remove the possibility of the people saying i never gave him the money. I also don't need to be the first one a target of the public in anyway.

You realize you can read what the lawyer writes before you turn it into the genie right? Also this whole thing is pointless because you can always come in from the side and throw in some random variable which kills you. A better way to approach this is to see if that random variable is probable or within the boundaries of the wish. Like the example if you wished you could fly, then yes only granting you flight for 1 second is probable since you need to be more specific. But the person who wished for that turtle which turned pink and flew away. WTF is that. I can say that for anyone's wish. I'll say this then to counter everything. Before you even think of your wish you get instantly killed by a lightning bolt from the sky.
