you can't "corrupt" a wish by doing something completely unrelated to the wish itself as a punishment. "i wish to be able to teleport"... so the genie KILLS YOU. no. that's not how this works. corrupt the WISH itself, not any externalities. the point of this thread is to come up with ways to word desires that give you precisely what you want, no more no less. for example, the wish above, "I wish I had the ability to teleport myself including anything else I'm in contact with to any location I desire." can be corrupted as follows: "when you attempt to teleport, being in contact with the ground, you rip a hole in the earth, causing a massive hole where you left. furthermore, wherever you teleported will have tons and tons of raw earth dropped on top of it, likely crushing whatever it was you wanted to get to anyway. additionally, you are now teleported several hundred feet above your intended location (since the chunk of earth came with you and you are on top of it), you will have to jump and will likely break bones, etc." notice the corruption is strictly on the power granted, not some externality he didn't even request (like "training" next to the sun) etc. | ||

I wish for the genie's freedom by returning them to humanity. Im not sure why anyone would wish this, the genie has lost its mind allready, earlier genies said they would stab you. | ||
