Cheesing doesn't make you a bad player unless that's all you do. Even the tip top level players cheese every now and then. Didn't you see FruitDealer 6 pool in GSL season 1? You think he's a bad player?

I dont think cheese is bad, but what is bad is relying on it to get you every win. A good player can do more then 1 strat. a Bad player can only cheese. and when he only cheeses and thinks hes good because he wins games is what really is the main source. Cheese fills all these noobs egos.

No disscusion here just QQing. @ OP: I can understand that it my be frustating to loose to cheese but you just have to except it as part of the game. As for why people do it, is because it is fun. It is not an instant win at all if they fail they fail epicly. So, it does take some skill to pull of, but in my opinion not as much as to defend it successfully. Durring my last gaming session I was on a 6 game win streak and then lost to a cannon rush and that was ok becuse it made me feel that my game is good knowing that the only thing that could take me down cheese.

1. First, learn to rush / cheese. (Let's not bother with the difference for the moment). 2. Then learn to defend rushes and cheese. 3. Then practice macro. I think this is a better mindset that emphasizes that early game play is an important part of the game.

Even categorized the threads by who closed them. Bravo. ![]() And don't you just love when people continue to reply to the thread as though nothing has happened, proving that they didn't read even the first page of replies?

Basically if you don't want to get cheesed just do an early scout and adapt, scouting kills most cheese easily if you know how to counter it.

There is nothing wrong with it ([Rant] execpt the absurd power of the terran cheeses[\Rant]), so learn to deal with it, and do not say that your opponent sucks when he just have beaten you. yah dude a 7 pools so hard to execute. Click the hatchery, make a drone, get 200 minerals, B,S, Click the hatchery again, Select larva ZZZ. Im pretty sure a fucking kid with downs can do that.
