Mine is installing in decent speed actually. I remember when Medieval II and Sacred II took each around 2h to install. Was a nightmare. With SC2, 5 minutes have passed, and I'm at 50% which I am very happy with. After that the patch which I am much more afraid of :<

Currently while installing the latest patch, 1.0.0.15 or so it goes to 70% with 0KB left to download and then terminates the program, kind of really odd.

It only took my computer about 5 minutes. Though i downloaded teh game. I guesse the bottleneck is the DVD reader ? As some people report not using mutch recourses for install.

I'm on XP and it crashed twice during the install, but after the 3rd time it installed and fully updated within 30 minutes.

Same thing here, I am using xpsp2 as my main OS. Install 4 times, and it crash. I am at 31%.

Do people with digital download install faster? Is it the DVD drive thats bottle neck?

With an I3 over clock to 4 ghz, I am pretty damn sure its not my computer.

Im at 30% and its creeping, i have 3 gigs of ddr2 ram and and 3x core 2.4 ghz, just takes awhile to instal 12 gigs of stuff I guess.
