Today I shall be writing about something that has surfaced itself to a friend of mine, and his various references of the site. The site is 4chan.org and ever since Kyle has found this I’ve noticed a change in him. But first lets do some background checking, The “Encyclopedia Dramatica” refers to 4chan as:
“…an anonymous Japanimation-themed collection of image boards based on the popular Japanese site 2ch.jp. 4chan is proof positive that the US should not have stopped with Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but should have nuked the entire island of Japan off the face of the Earth. The site is full of fail, newfags directed from Digg, and f*cktards, all of whom have at least some variant of social anxiety disorder. So, not surprisingly, most of the image boards consist of hentai. “
So based on this expert unbiased opinion it seems to be that 4chan is something massive and terrible, much like scientology. But could it change someone’s personality simply by him or her visiting it occasionally? This is what Wikipedia (Who have blatantly ripped off the Encyclopedia Dramatica) has to say about 4chan.org:
“4chan is an English language imageboard based on the Japanese imageboard Futaba Channel. This imageboard is based primarily around the posting of pictures (generally related to anime, manga, and popular culture) and their discussion. The Guardian describes it as "at once brilliant, ridiculous and alarming."…”
It would seem this place, though somewhat evil has none the less had a great influence on the internet; much like Hitler has had a major influence on the rest of history.
Fun fact: The Jews weren’t the only ones genocided, there were also gays and gypsies; and above all else the Ukrainians, who suffered more casualties than the Jews, the only reason that it isn’t as popular for us to know of the Ukrainians mishaps is because Hitler was that successful in killing them; or frightening them out of writing books about this stuff.
Now lets look at Kyle, a simple little boy, delivering a paper route, going to church and church youth groups on a regular basis. Walking old ladies to the morgue. However recently he’s been swearing, slightly less actually but seems infatuated by this 4chan.org. I’ve also noticed his racism level has moved on from just the Jews to also African Americans and has been heard using the n word. Such behavior I do not condone. So, I started beating him with a hose, then my arm got tired and I started writing this.
Now I have acquired some diagrams that may aid in explaining this phenomenon of one website causing so much social harm in an individual.
It appears that this website lures visitors in with cool or funny pictures, then as they explore more and more and… as it were find more and more funny things and more and more hentai (that includes the cartoon kind and the real people kind), it appears that there is less and less reason to leave, and the flaws and social anomalies of those there appear to be soaked up by the visitor until they become part of the website that is known as “The Internet Hate Machine” I hadn’t found any real records of it being called this but it is referenced as it several times, in fact I have found a website with the title “The internet hate machine” and here is its URL http://www.internethatemachine.org/
Here is also another diagram explaining how 4chan manages to turn Internets into hate.
It appears that 4chan is currently down, and from what I’ve discovered about it on “The Encyclopedia Dramatica” we’re all pretty much doomed.
“4chan is like the anus of the internet in that it holds all the shit inside the rectums so it doesn't spray out all over. When 4chan goes down, it's like the internet has explosive diarrhea.”
Thus concludes my research of 4chan.org and those who spend too much time dwelling within its html code. Note: The js and css and xhtml is harmless though.

It was pretty good site in the beginning but it got real boring around 05-06.
Now there's just normal people there.

Thanks : D This was written some time ago tho, with an unbiast opinion (just been intoduced to 4chan) and my friend thought I should put it here for some reason. I'm not entirely sure why he thought it would be a good idea...

4chan has plenty of great forums such as:
/r9k/
/tv/
/co/
/po/
/ck/
and then shitholes like /b/ and /v/ that give the site a really bad reputation. However it has a lot of variety and isn't all about memes, gore, and child porn as one might believe. Explore forums other than /b/.

4chan is retarded (and not even interesting retarded) and has been for a couple years now
its where 13 year olds go to hang out and pretend to be cool
visiting 4chan doesnt make you cool or a badass or an internet warrior. You aren't awesome or in the know or anything like that
I'm tired of all these posts about how awesome people are now that they found 4chan, when 4chan hasnt been frontier or cool or secret for like 3+ years. Going on 4chan doesnt make you cool, it just makes you like every other fucking person on the internet.

Have you been outside of /b/ and /v/? Some of the forums are really high quality but they're way overshadowed by the ones full of 12 year old meme shouters.
/M/ech is a really high quality board as well, if you're into that sort of thing. /wg/ is decent too.
