Is it possible for Korean progamers to NOT respect their elders? Really weird that a player coach is based on seniority over anything else. And this seems to be the case for other teams too. You never hear of a young progamer who doesn't really cut it as a player due to APM or bad mechanics something. And turn coach because he has awesome strategic and tactical insights.

Coaches are supposed to suck. They're usually the oldest on the team. Bisu would make a better coach, but he would have less practice time. Coaches don't need practice time because they're usually not that good.
The only problem is... who the fuck is Doctor.K? I'm pretty sure someone like oov or boxer would make a better P coach even though they don't play toss; a great thinker is a great thinker and a poor player will breed poor players.
hmmm what wtf a bad player doesnt mean he will be a bad coach look at mumyung his coaching did help skt zergs a lot
also im pretty sure doctor.k was skt captain for quite a while?
Don't think doctor.k was ever captain... could be wrong (somehow) Is mumyung really the coach? And anyway, being the coach of SKT zerg is like being the coach of USA soccer... your team probably wont win and if it does, 99% chance it's a fluke.

Doctor.K (aka Bul_T) wasn't actually that bad a player. He was on T1's 2v2 team in the 08 SPL season, which wasn't a bad 2v2 team. 6-2 on Hannibal, 2-2 on Hunters. He also tended to do well in his two appearances in the MST recently, only to get wrecked in Ro32 of the MSL. Really, any player who can make the T1 A-Squad isn't a bad choice as a coach. It's not like eSTRO where they have extra slots on the A-Squad kicking around.

This is probably a really intelligent reply to my post that I'm too drunk to respond to. I still think oov would serve as a more than adequate P coach (at least for pvt which i guess is the least important of the matchups with today's z dominance)

If you didn't listen to Midas he'd give you an uppercut. New KTF coach here folks.
A lot of the behind the scene SKT1 vids will show how sociable Doctor.K is. He's basically the guy that gets the group together and bring out their team spirit. I just find it ironic because he's possibly the nerdiest looking progamer out there.
