6-9 is a pretty miniscule sample as it is. Maybe there are aspects of the map that are Protoss favored, but I don't see anything glaringly unbalanced about it.

GJ Bisu! <3 Taek Yong!

Yeah it totally doesn't matter that the ratio is less than Z 1:3 P in pro games. jesus.

How can no one respond to this inaccuracy? Right now, it's 6: 9 ZvP on Heartbreak Ridge including the GOM match that happened afterwards. 6: 9 is 2:3, which is greater than 1:3 by a large margin. And assuming this comment was before the GOM match, then it's 5: 9. 5: 9 is 1.67:3, still greater than 1:3.

Your point?
We all know Heartbreak Ridge is a bad map for zerg.

It doesn't matter about stats, the map itself, the structure of it favors protoss over zerg. Although it played a minor part in last night's game, I don't see why everyone is denying it.

I'm not denying it, in fact Bisu's words are like a given truth to me, he already said multiple times, even before 10 pvz were played on this map, that it is very friendly for toss against zerg

I could. This one game does not determine who is the better sc player, it probably will determine the PR though.

Fine, as of now bisu is playing better games than jaedong. Who cares about their overall record, its now that matters.

It did play a minor role, but people like savior was whooping people left and right even with the map imbalances.

Dubious. The only bo5 in recent memory was taken by Jaedong, and they're both raping like crazy in Proleague. Just going off of one game doesn't prove anything.

Four recommended games? JAEDONG vs BISU??!!

I can't believe I missed this for a stupid party?! WTF WAS I THINKING???

Youtube time! <3 nevake!

Edit: epic series, exciting and hilarious. jd vs bisu could/should have been better though, a bit too standard. and after seeing the warnings below, i think i'll not read this LR thread =/

You know it's amazing the shitstorm a JD vs Bisu match causes.. or really when any two on fire players play against each other.

Instead of enjoying the game people throw up a ton of excuses no matter who wins, be it on the map, how sick the guy is, not being at their best... whatever.

Just enjoy the games guys.

Bisu winning was good for my fantasy and my liquibet though.

I read about 2 pages after the Bisu/JD game and had to stop. Talk about a buzz kill. Can't people just enjoy the game? It took 2 seconds for JD and Bisu fans to start going at each others throats.

Because when I said it the map db was 33% and then Bisu won. That's why no one corrected me -- because when I said it my point was clear.

I mean if you want I'll go into a huge winding rant about how the hard to defend expansions wreak havoc on a zerg mid-to-late game, or talk about how the chokes perfectly benefit storms, or how the fights in the field are dominated by storm because of the battle for the high ground forcing the zerg to move forward or automatically lose their army and their expansion, etc, but you'd be daft to think it's not p favored even if statistics violently swinged from less than 1:3 zvp to 2:3 zvp.

That aside Bisu still deserved his win. I agree with everyone else who isn't missing a few bolts that his HT protection and early OL sniping are what put him ahead. The map's imbalance just sealed it for him later on.

woops, my bad. What I get for staying up late. Should just edit it to be 33% because that's still abysmal. I have a loopy brain that associates 33%=1/3=1:3 I guess.

The map is definitely imbalanced but you know its not much to complain about what with the zerg favoured ones recently

And i think as of now they are both equal players neither would be favourite in a Bo match. I wouldn't say Bisu is in better form after JD's recent game against Leta he still looks really strong, just had so much ZvZ lately due to the map pool its been hard to really see his skill in other matchups.

That is the way I see it too... Bisu vs Jaedong just means that we're watching probably the two best players ever. Even as a huge Bisu fan, I don't think either one is really better than the other, and it can always go either way.

If there is a better version it can easily replace the Bisu one.
