Thanks konadora for the interview. PS. The match was awesome. It's even worse when people can't admit that a map is imbalanced. I will straight up admit that Bisu played better today, that doesn't change the fact the damn map is poorly balanced for PvZ.

1) Jaedong does the standard "Neo Sauron" build while attempting to block all scouting attempts with zerglings without speed upgrade. 2) Bisu sneaks a probe through and checks that Jaedong is building a spire. 3) Jaedong cancels his spire, and builds it again. This probably costed Jaedong the game. 4) Bisu kills four overlords thanks to the delayed spire. Point Bisu. 5) Jaedong scouts with his scourges that Bisu is building up a dragoon/high templar army, and builds up a mutalisk/hydralisk army to counter it. 6) Bisu sees that Jaedong is saving up larva and expects mutalisk sniping, and hides his high templars behind his cannons. 7) Jaedong's mutalisks get seriously injured while sniping high templars. Point Bisu once again. 8) Bisu guards his high templars well and Jaedong's mutalisks are too injured to do anything special. 9) A huge battle ensues resulting in Jaedong's army losing to Bisu's. Jaedong is done for. 10) Bisu kills Jaedong's expansion. Game over. The rest of the game is Jaedong delaying his inevitable defeat. Perhaps facing any other protoss, he might have turned the tables with his late game play. But not against Bisu.

Scouting the spire threw JD off a little bit, I think. He switched to 5 hatch hydras, but it delayed him just a little bit so that Bisu could kill 4 different overlords with his sairs before JD had any anti-air.

JD correctly anticipates Bisu will will send out a second probe scout so he sends 'lings to the other exit from Bisu's base, but Bisu sneaks the second probe scout out instead from where his first scout escaped to. He spazzed out and cancelled his half-done spire, only to immediately rebuild it. What a stupid, amataur-like mistake against one of the best players in the scene in one of the more important games of the season. I expected a nail biting game to the finish. Instead, I saw a game that basically involved Jaedong playing catch up all game with Bisu barely breaking a sweat after Jaedong's mistake. With all the anticipation I had for the game, the way the game turned out ruined the day for me.

I know Heartbreak Ridge is tough for ZvP, but you can't look at a mistake of this magnitude (plus allowing the scout in the first place) and say that Jaedong lost because of map imbalance. Bisu played a better game, fair and square.

Right now, it's 6: 9 ZvP on Heartbreak Ridge including the GOM match that happened afterwards. 6: 9 is 2:3, which is greater than 1:3 by a large margin. And assuming this comment was before the GOM match, then it's 5: 9. 5: 9 is 1.67:3, still greater than 1:3.
