BackHo's PvZ is less-than-desirable but at the same time, GoRush is in ACE, which limits his practice time. While he has been showing success in the qualifiers and also the Proleague, it is still a concern I have. However, BackHo is recently returned from an extended absence due to his oh-so-doubly-ironic herniated disc injury. His PvZ as I said is questionable at best, and he had a 4 month absence. Overall, I give the edge to GoRush because of maps. We've found Holy World to be a potential PvZ player's nightmare ( GuemChi won on it against Thezerg, but ZerO showed us all the potential exploits last week), and Outsider is showing more and more that Protoss players are caught between a rock and a hard place. GoRush could and should open the night with an easy two game sweep of BackHo. The second match of the night is going to be bad. Tester hasn't seen a game since last OSL where he somehow made the Round of 16, only to lose an embarrassing three times. Really, no matter who makes it out of the first game, Tester shouldn't win. However, I do see a wild card here. If Tester manages to win just one game on Holy World or Outsider (probably via cheese), he seems to have this magic on Return of the King in the Round of 36. However, I think GoRush crushes him quickly and secures his spot in the Round of 16, becoming the first player since the inception of Air Force ACE to advance past the first stage in the MSL or OSL. + Show Spoiler [BackHo, Updated through Set 2] +

Depends on which Backho shows up for which matches. If Failho makes even one appearance, Gorush should be able to ride the maps and his recent momentum to the ro16. Wouldn't count out Tester either, since he does have the high ground in this group. If Gorush wins, then Tester gets to use Backho as a stalking horse, if Backho wins, he'll still have fresher hands.

I think it's because SC is getting more popular internationally and those who used to provide the streams have noticed the higher load and taken steps to prevent people outside Korea from watching since our viewership isn't valuable to their advertisers. Case in point: Daum Pot Player.

He really shouldn't have typed it in the first place, and should know to not do spam that would make him press enter accidentally with these rules. If Kespa had let it slip basically people could just start typing whatever and then complain about how kespa doesn't treat everyone the same etc. Correct ruling this time.

A good rule Kespa can make is:
-No typing at all during game except indication of surrender, acceptance of opponent's surrender, and request for pause.

First off, it's a warfare game, believing anything your opponent is typing in relation to the game is stupid in the first place.
Second off, if you must... how about you restrict chatting from god damn game elements, it's not that hard. Plenty of great moments happened during earlier SC because you were actually able to banter between players and create actual rivalries. Getting DQ'd for typing the letter a is ludicrous on any scale.

Typing was not uncommon before the rule was passed. Indeed, Boxer is a showman and as a showman he simply said "Base too small T_T" to which the crowd/commentators laughed; like a true showman. However, Junitoss (his opponent), had really bad problems with his nerves and he freaked out and got paranoid. Indeed, because of Junitoss's poor nerves this shit happens now.

unfortunately you have to draw the line somewhere and stick to it. Else the door would be wide open to manipulation, favoritism and all kinds of generally unfair rulings.

A guy types an "a" and gets DQ'd in a star league. That's so dumb that it's hard to not laugh. No matter how strict you are on enforcing rules, you can't prevent accidents. E.g., I think no chatting in games is a good rule; if someone does that, it's a blatant disregard for the rules and punishment would be fair. But, once you start punishing people for honest mistakes, what's the point? Gamers should be allowed to have their focus on playing the game, not worrying about accidentally typing a fucking "a."

This rule just doesn't make sense at all anymore. Why is there a referee in the first place? If the rule specifically states any typing is not allowed you don't need the referee, especially if you have the shit on camera. A referee would be needed if you need someone to make judgement if he d/q for a specific chat (like the boxer example, chat that could be misleading and or is only directed towards throwing the opponent of guard). Basically this rule is similar to any Sport, you can get a yellow card in soccer for talking trash to players/referees, too, but it's upon the ref to decide.
This would be like saying talking in general wasn't allowed in sports and then some player says "sorry" because of a bad foul and gets ejected.

Yea, technically, the Ref could've just ruled the "a" as a Pause request and paused the Game (like he did anyways). Or at least he could've given that reason after talking to GoRush and finding out about the accident, since noone was harmed.

I didn't watch this live but after finding about this bs I decided to read into it.
Apparently GoRush wasn't sure if his keyboard was in Korean or English at the time so he wanted to check by typing in something quickly... but instead of deleting it he accidentally entered it in. (Note, if you're text is in Korean, your hotkeys don't work)
