No, regionals was pointless. When WCG runs tourneys, instead of ladders, they are asking for more than they can handle (going off the past). But really, in this instance, it's not even WCGs fault. There usually is a delay in them making the final brackets, nothing out of the norm happened here on their side of it.

the fucked up thing is that there was no admin present and it's been over 12 hours and no admin has come to address the issue.

will they force people to re-play or will the result stand? o_O!~

Lol, there is no way this will stand. Last qualifier when you guys were giving me hella shit, the same thing happened -- the admins were M.I.A -- which made it into a scene that it never should have been. I don't think the admins work on Sundays or something. But, in their defense on this one, when you don't have a tourney that is officially scheduled, why show up?

ok time to bring my wisdom to this ~
this final 4 was not the same as the last one.. Day ran around and got everyone to agree on a "time" becasue defalt time was bad for day.. so everyone agreed on new time change.. but that wasnt the case this time.. for the fact no one told Nyoken they had to change the times. no one did anything.. Timestop posted "i g2g to soccer at such and such times" which isnt nyoken or chosen's problem.. if you cant show up at the defalt time which is writen in the players guide then you should be walked over... its that simple.. during the first final 4 prelim #1 i had to walk over nyoken becasue i waited 45 min for him. I called his house MSNed him no response... so the ref walked him over.
so unless you see all 4 players post "to change the time" i dont think time should be changed.

Lol, "bring my wisdom to this." Grab a dictionary man, there was NOTHING insightful about that. Going by the competition guide, I should have showed up on this Monday and ignored what the brackets said (Tuesday for the first round). Lz gamer, man of wisdom, shows up to tourneys that he hasn't been designated an opponent. Perhaps I should have told my non existent opponent what time he would like to play, but figuring he is non existent -- hard to get much out of him. I would blame that guy... my non existent opponent. Don't insult the word "wisdom."

It just happened, and I'm considering forfeiting. I can't put up with BULLSHIT every qualifier. The brackets were not even fucking made, and it was known that we were not going to play this until we all agreed on a time. Be it the official one or another one.

The admins need to let us know the days they will be working so we don't have important dates pass without any supervision.

Appalling.

"considering forfeiting" kinda indicates that I'm aware of that. All I know is that there is no way any of us should play if Chosen is playing in this tomorrow. From my perspective, it was fucking stupid (understatement) and abuse, and he lost to nyoken in every round that he wanted to play out (if I remember the phony tourney correctly).

I dunno how huge a gap of skill there is between you/timecop and nyoken/chosen

But upsets can always happen if its huge

Off topic, but another BS issue is gameon: it lags my computer so fucking much when signing in to the WCG league (not even possible to play through it), but it doesn't when logging into the monthly league to play...

With iccup down and them not addressing the lag issue, I don't even know if I could play this (at the scheduled date), unless through monthly league and it not lagging my computer was not an anomaly.

glad timestop and machinehead have their opportunities to play. good luck to timestop in his match against chosen, who seems to have betrayed his lack of integrity foolishly and for nothing. hiding behind technicalities and straight up lying to someone who has just proven himself an upright player is really shitty, and i'm sure the guilty parties are well aware of this too.

Quit being a bitch. Have you even had to beat anyone yet or have you just had walkovers all the way to the final 4? Shut the fuck up and realize you'd never beat chosen or nyoken anyway, that you are a fucking asshole and no one likes you, and that you're bad at Starcraft, and just go away.

I agree, if someone had msged all of the players and they all agreed upon a different time, then I could see this being rescheduled, but if the players have no idea, show up at the posted time and no one is on what do you expect? They arent just going to sit and wait all day for the possibility that they might log in at the same time, and even then what if nyoken and chosen got w/o waiting for their opponents? I think as far as MachineHead goes their is no way he should get a shot because he never even attempted to ask for a reschedule, the only thing questionable is the TimeStop and Chosen thing which was kind of dirty but that isnt my decision.
