Totally dick move imo. I completely agree. Apparently they already went ahead and played the finals and all. It looked to me in the previous posts that chosen was going to pp his match against timestop and timestop did post on here also and gave his msn info. Timestop is going to be in for a very sad surprise when he comes home this afternoon. I wonder how all of this will turn out.

wait what the fuck? there was a hate storm when machinehead posted a w/o with specific conditions to reverse it if opponent actually shows up to play the next day, basically not even abusing anything, just backing himself up now chosen and nyoken decided they can play both wb finals and grand finals on they own? Are you serious LOL? what is this about unless im MISSING SOMETHING THATS NOT THERE. If this is true its the worst kind of hypocrisy. Actually i dont believe someone like nyoken would even do this, definitely initiated by another person

they should just replay it when all 4 players are available
|
Why cant me vs machinehead and winner play chosen? Im soryr admins but i postponed for machine chosen said he'd postpone for me. Real lame and pathetic if this doesnt happen. And thank you tl.neters for atleast vouching for me.

What, you guys said on here that we were going to get together and discuss the time we wanted to play. After the last debacle I figured there was no way anyone wouldn't realize we could do that, thus why not do that? But, my name isn't Idra, so I guess that makes it cool.

I mean this is kind of ridiculous, before I went to bed I checked to see if there was an official time -- there was not, so now I wake up to what you guys said is a tourney that has already been played out. That's just weird, did 2 people agree on a time? Would be gay if WCG gives that short of a notice for the final 4 times. Not a robot, can't be awake 24/7 to know this...

yeah it's sounding like you and timestop got screwed. Have nyoken and chosen already played out the grand finals?

That may be the dumbest quote I've ever seen. You set up the finals without 2 of the people involved, and 1 of the people you set it up with isn't even in the final 4? So there was no way of notifying me of this? How can that make sense to anyone, lol. You guys didn't even wait for the official time to come out to see if that was agreeable to all of us, to avoid any confusion? I'm not mad, it's too dumb to take seriously.

Apparently Nyoken asked if Chosen would play later but chosen insisted on playing at 12. So they played it out and what not even though i told chosen to please give me a PP match. So much for a friend. Chosen is a 2 faced loser from what i can tell. No one to trust ):
|
If that is the case, I would say have patience and just wait for the admins to handle this; I took a lot of heat in the last qualifier on a Sunday when it should have been resolved sooooo quickly: I'm not sure if the admins work on Sundays.

Why I hope what I am reading here isn't true.
Otherwise there are some douchebags amoungst us. I hope this gets cleared up quickly.
Geoff I hope you are the voice of justice here as well!!!

me and chosen showed up to play at 12. competition guide says it starts at 12. i played in previous qualifier finals, and lost. i was late and was walked over.
i dont have anything to do with the scheduling between chosen and timestop if there even was any. based on the posts it seems like chosen said that he would postpone if he could. there was no admin at the qualifying tournament. (admins told me they dont have to be online <- LOL)
i said when i got there that i would play later. chosen didnt want to play later and tbh i didnt want to play later either. since me and chosen are on diff sides of the bracket we just walked over each of them and would play it from there. it went 0/2, 2/1, 2/1 so i won the overall bo3s

such bad form guys =\ You knew ahead of time that at least timestop couldnt get there, and possibly machine?
Yet you went anyway? It's one thing if the opponent knows ahead of time and says he can make it and just doesn't show, but you guys knew ahead of time he couldn't untop of his opponent saying he would be willing to PP match and fight it for him. Chosen agreeing to PP match here

If I'm wrong on this account then I'd be glad to PP it forya. I know how lame it would be to make it to the finals and then miss the finals.. Anyway I'm going to show up at 12 and I'll try and fight your case. Hopefully admins can reschedule or something..
As you said there was no admin present Nyoken, seems like you easily could have postponed the matches.
Then, you both opt to not wait? Whats another few hours, or the like, If you haven't sent in results id replay the games =\

Basically the competition guide looks like the times things will happen if there are no hitches/changes. Notice how the tourney says it should start on the 25th, but since that was a holiday, it was pushed back a day. Then, what should have affected the final 4 times is that machine and timestop postponed their game for a day or w/e (also the tourney starting a day later), altering the times for the final 4: You have to make sure everyone has sufficient time to see the time of the matches/practice, w/e.
Point: the competition guide is NOT the official time. The brackets never changed to the final four, and we were not given an official time or an opponent.

Wow that is complete bullshit dude.
Just wow.
EDIT: Sorry for the double post... forgot I had posted, then clearly re-read this. :/
EDIT2: How do you even know what side of the finals bracket you are on, WCG has yet to post it. If you look back at other qualifiers, the top to bottom order of the brackets does NOT mean the order of the finals. Basically, you just guessed then? C'mon guys... this is utter crap.

pics are from qualifier 1 when i got walkovered.

so let me sum up what i think i have garnered here:
1) nyoken shows up at the designated time 2) nyoken made no agreements at any time to postpone matches 3) nyoken beat everyone else who showed up, thus winning the spot
if this is what happened then people need to stop whining.

Being biased is all cool and great, but it can make you look like an idiot. But for some that may be a price they are willing to pay to back a friend. That's cool though.
The above quote is accurate and is all anyone needs to read to realize this isn't even worth talking about...
