If JangBi is the only toss you like...you've got bigger problems
Honest question: what do you like about JangBi? What makes him special? He seems to me to be the definition of Generic Protoss Player. No style, no personality. Sure, he wins games but...surely there must be some other reason you've picked him?
By this logic, there should be no Flash fans, since Flash epitomizes the turtle terran style. Can't people be impressed by impressive play?
Of course...even as a non-JB fan I am impressed by some of his crazy PvT wins. But Flash has the allure of being the best Terran out there right now, and possibly the most talented SC player of all time. He already has a Starleague under his belt, tons of rivalries (Bisu, Jaedong), and an interesting storyline (balancing being KTF's workhorse with Starleague success).
JangBi...he's not even the world's best Protoss, and he's just now emerging from Stork's shadow at KHAN. I just don't see many interesting, fan-alluring elements to his play, background, or personality.
Okay. Now you're making a different point all together(accomplishment as opposed to entertainment value of games). So basically playing generically boring is okay as long as you're the best!? Weird logic, but one you shouldn't be surprised if people disagree with you on.
I can understand why he has fans (for his immense talent), but it was surprising to hear someone say that JB is the "only Protoss I like".
Why so? I don't really care for zerg players in general, but I love Zero. I don't see why this is so impossible to comprehend.

Asks a Best fan? Seriously?
What? BeSt easily has one of the most distinctive styles of any Protoss player right now: pure, unadulterated, brute force macro power. This style comes with its weaknesses (PvZ) but I find it extremely entertaining to watch. I don't think there's a more pure macro player in all of SC right now.
I haven't watched too many of Best's games, but does he ever do anything besides 2-base arbiter in PvT, or sair/reaver -> losing shuttle -> mass speedlots in PvZ? It seems that's about it to me. Once you watch one game, you've seen them all.
Anyone have a link to the Poem thing that nada wrote ? plus maybe a whole recap of the nada tragic/success story ? looked on TLFE and couldn't find it....

I am not and have never been trying to make a point about what the "optimal" SC player is like, and why he should have fans. You took a point I made about JB ("generic style") and applied it to Flash, so I countered by pointing out that Flash has other fanbase-explaining attributes which JB lacks.

"surprising" != "impossible to comprehend", jeebus. If you're going to exaggerate what I say to the point where it's obviously ridiculous...there's really no point in continuing this discussion.

Thanks AltaiR_! You may have just answered all my JB fanbase-related questions...I'm going to sleep now, but I will watch this VOD tomorrow. Maybe you will make a JB fan of me yet.

It's definitely possible for the same to happen to Nada.
Sure, except Mind was a talented up-and-coming Terran who clearly had the raw skill to take down Bisu (we just didn't know him well enough yet).
NaDa, on the other hand...we know exactly what his skill level is, and it's nowhere near JangBi's. All you've proven is that underdogs can win TvP series sometimes. Not a very worthwhile point IMO.
edit: lol?
Anyway, im expecting Jangbi to win, but hoping for Nada of course. Go Nada!!
