On February 23 2009 18:36 rushz0rz wrote: he never cancelled den. he got speed for lings and sniped the first 2 vultures, and then continued to not allow any vults to get in until it was too late anyway. the den may have thrown off really a bit. what are you talking about, the den cancel was the key point in the game. scv scout got into calm's base. calm cancelled the den like 2 seconds after the scv scout died and switched to a muta tech. he was also really smart in not attacking the supply/supply/rax wall with his 12 lings, even though there was only 1 marine with no scvs blocking. instead he waited for the inevitable rax lift to let the vulture sneak out. this entire time really is thinking that calm is going to a hydra or lurker all in so he goes for 2fact without any anti air until he scouts it way too late and the spire is already pretty much finished. calm did a great job faking really out. also, really's vult micro wasn't that bad. it's hard to micro a single slow vult against speedlings. | ||
