Yea, but the fact that you have to send out someone who's a practice gosu rather than some who's at least been semi-proven in years past (like Pure, Rock, Nada - all bad choices from the way they've been playing) indicates a lack of stability in your team.

Wow, I guess everybody saw Hoejja's pretty horrible error on the replay flying all his scourge PAST all of Mind's vessels.

That was my only complaint about Hoejja that game. Generally (especially there), he wasn't doing such a great job with his scourge. He eventually made up for it with a nice plague and kill, but without that, who knows what would've happened.

Wow, the replay just showed the biggest pro multitasking failure I've eves seen. A flock of scouge like 8-10 of them just flew uncontested over a group of vessels, and then all died to marines somewhere else on the map >_<
Force staff is the best item in the game.

lol, anybody who said mind was way ahead at anypoint in the game .... is ignorant.

There was a brief timing window that mind could have exploited, when the bottom wasn't up and running, but hoejja delayed it enough. After that hoejja had an advantage, not a large one, but a positional one for sure. Minds choice of 3 rax -> tank instead of sk terran made him light on vessels to irradiate lurker/defiler, that is why I think there was a slight hoejja advantage at that point, after that the game maintained an even/ hoejja advantage.

I felt like that's where Mind started to lose it though. He perfectly countered the burrow ling and the muta, fell for none of the backstabs. He was very far ahead.

From then on, it was just not very good game play from Mind. Hoejja did a good job delaying, for sure, but that's what he needed to get back into the game and take it.

It's not like the burrowed lings was an all in strategy, it was just a cute play that didn't help or hurt. Hoejja's muta harass didn't do much, but it also didn't send him that far behind. When I was watching the game I never really saw Mind taking the huge lead everyone else was talking about. In fact I thought some of the posts were jokes that were supposed to be overly biased against Hoejja.

Mind definitely had an advantage during/a bit after the muta harass. HoeJJas mutas were ineffective and all of HoeJJas attempts to keep Minds army count reasonable failed.

But when the lurker tech came, Mind was at a BO disadvantage, and had too many small armies spread throughout the map.

The lurker harrass was to delay, not win the game ... notice the fast hive ....

I don't know about that, even if Baby loses they still have NaDa or keke/RorO to dispose of a zerg. We haven't really seen HoeJJa's ZvZ much, so who knows what he's like in that department.

KTF winning the match seems quite likely with Mind out of the way though, definitely.

maybe Baby is doing well in practice games... why not
just because he is young doesnt mean he is weak, he is 2years younger than flash, btw

Little over 2 years younger than Flash actually.

He looks at least 5...

Well they played an undeniably huge part in denying Mind from doing the damage he needed to do.

A couple of years ago, Pantech had two young rookies.
Flash and Baby.
Pantech decided to trade Flash to KTF and develop Baby since he was the more popular choice.
Pantech, worst decision of their corporate career.

BaBy has very high APM. He's a fast player ;o

He has good mechanics, but doesn't really have the game-sense decision making ability of some of the more experienced gamers.

Yea, the ridiculous part of that game to me was that Hoejja took out a lot of Mind's army with defiler-ling. He didn't get out Ultras until the last battle and he spent a lot of the last 10 minutes flanking control groups of mnm with 24 cracklings.

Flash goes to dominate the progaming scene for a bit and becomes one of the four kings. Ouch. Yeesh.

hoejja was looking a bit over confidant, people don't smile after a win because they don't want to be too overconfidant.

Figures you would say that being a CJ fan (-_-).
I disagree; I think it makes progamers seem more human when they show emotion after victory.
