Samsung KHAN vs OnGameNet SPARKYZ Game 1: (Z)Juni < Colosseum II > (Z)type-b
this game is a tossup, but type-b has shown hes a decent zerg so il give him the benifit of the doubt.
Game 2: (P)Stork < Neo Harmony > (P)HakSoo
stork ez mode. way more established, much better pvp. pretty much an autovote, even considering storks recent proleague losses. Game 3: (T)firebathero < Rush Hour 3 > (Z)YellOw[ArnC]
firebathero autovote. this is FBH. on rush hour 3. against a zerg. lol. and although yarnc is good, hes no luxury or jaedong, who have already fallen to fbh.
expect a dance Game 4: (T)FrOzean < Sin Chupung-Ryeong > (T)Leta
... ah frozean. the smart bet will be leta. as he has much better tvt. and dosnt suck.. but you never know.
Closer: < Destination >
if it comes to the ace match i expect khan to send out firebathero as he has amazing tvt, having already beaten opponents like flash, thus i dont see even leta beating him, as well as impecable tvz, they dont have to worry about ogn foreseeing this and sniping him with a protoss as ogn has no good protosses.
i expect ogn to send out leta. but he will lose to firebathero

After firebathero's performances against Jaedong, it's hard to believe Yarnc will beat him. I suppose it could happen though. I'm still cheering for Yarnc, because I dislike FBH. =(

Next match will be critical though for Khan.
because he beat T1 tosses at the most important moments. Sometimes stork get overconfident when he beat some top tier player and lost the next game. If he show his 100% in every game, he is definitely on par with T1 tosses

FBH has had trouble against muta harrasses though, and tends to get his first M&M group caught up in the open. Yarnc's muta micro is absolutely sick. So this could be interesting.
Yellow is such a good ZvT player. His muta harass is unparalleled. But knowing FBH's love affair with sunken breaks, his success all depends on whether or not he can stall long enough for his mutas to hatch.

I also think it's safe to say the best ZvT is still Jaedong.
Terrans don't make BC now to humilate, they take away alot of zerg gas, multi-tasking, 1shot kill scourge, scout, murder drones and stretch zerg eco to thin.

Shameless leta fanboy here, I would applaud
He's not very good with his cheeses though, he lost to canata once with it, and in fact the game against Luxury is the only one I can recall where a proxy went in his favor

No because FBH is a MACRO player.
FBH is completely different from Boxer lololol what the fuck thats a disgrace towards Boxer.
why is it a disgrace towards boxer to compare him to the coolest player out there?
because FBH has no style, its just generic terran with battlecruisers/nukes thrown in.. meh its harder to be stylish that it was in Boxer's days though.

you cant deny his game has style. the bc nuke gimicks you can forget. he just has amazing micro. his cheeses are really creative. comes up with unique builds.

besides I wouldn't call battlecruisers / nukes creative at all.
Well, FBH popularized it. You gotta give him creativity points there. And yes FBH TvZ is rather standard but it just has some sort of spark to it that makes it better than an average S class TvZ. At least his recent games do.

You mean how with Boxer bunker rushed his way to a title against Yellow?
FBH's incredibly creative, just look at how he mindfucked Jaedong in their last encounter.

+Medic Restoration. Sickest Cloning skills I've seen in Terran Regular full Science Facility tech usage.
Boxer overrated lol. Credit to him pulling the tricks in his days but they don't work easily now when everyone in top 50 can do the tricks. Now the game evolved to defence and macro.
Boxer known for TvZ in his days until muta harrass came in.

Exactly what I wanted to say... !!!
Making BCs force Zergs to use more gas on something totally else than their main battle units....
If you're a zerg and want to kill a BCs with scourges it costs you more than 1 Ultralisk worth of gas and.... plus the damage you get from the battlecruiser.
1 less ultralisk + anti-ultralisk attack for terran...... by just 1 BC.... not to mention that BCs have huge HPs that they can operate without support which means that they can operate as harassment units
It's a big plus for Terran...
the dilemma for the zerg player is...... 2~3 BC's ain't so huge enough to shift gear into air based units... And Countering the BCs means you have
I don't know who first did it (maybe FBH?) but it's a brilliant idea...

They are overworking Leta, but what choice to they have? It was pretty given that Jangbi would appear as ace as he didn't play, and Yarnac probably would not have done too well against him.
Still, I fear Leta will burn out in time for the individual leagues.
Surprising that all the favorite won today. Although honestly I thought Leta would've put up more of a fight. But his lack of TvP experience certainly showed. Jangbi putting on a clinic there.
Hey guys, this is my first post, so I thought I'd say hi to everybody at TL.
Personally, I think that OGN was somewhat screwed by the maps. Not to say that firebathero and JangBi didn't play well, but Rush Hour 3 is now 7-1 TvZ since its addition to the map pool, and Destination is 24-14 PvT. It is more balanced ZvP at 18-20, but JangBi owns YellOw[ArnC] with an 8-1 record. Oh well, JangBi was the perfect Ace choice considering the map and potential competition, and he got the job done.

You can't get screwed by the maps in proleague. If anything, OGN got screwed by their coach for choosing their lineup.

OGN is screwed by not having a good Protoss more than the maps
True, I agree that OGN needs to develop their Tosses like Tazza into reliable ProLeague players. I just wish the Ace map could have something more T friendly like Harmony, although last time that happened, the OGN coach sent out Shine. Can anybody provide a decent explanation for that, because I was at a loss for words.

My best guess: Leta had had OSL qualifiers two days before that on three maps that he hadn't played much and was in the lineup, so the coach didn't want to overwork him by having him practice a fifth map for both zerg and terran. Other than that, who knows, maybe Shine is OGN's second-best Terran, or maybe they thought Lecaf would send out forgg, since Shine's TvT really isn't all that bad.

Yeah, pretty much. As star-laden as the Khan team is, they really don't have a counter to a good protoss right now considering Stork's inconsistent state of PvP. But they're pretty much invincible against any terran/zerg heavy lineup.
Jangbi got screwed big time by the map last match against Fantasy, so these things even out.

Shine is a Z sniper, and he got tvz and got mauled. They picked the right guy for ace, but he just played bad.

This.
Shine actually managed to lose to Hyuk at last season's PL playoffs. His TvZ is pretty bad.
