Seriously what the fuck lol. What a game. I mean weve seen carriers come back like that before but it really seemed like Royal had everything that could mine destroyed. But still the interceptors held on.

Good play by mini but big throw imo. Royal just spent too much time milling his army around and just lacked critical Goliath mass.

Closing out lategame TvPs is always hard but Royal was way to indecisive in the midgame. Always pushing through the middle and leaving his 5 o'clock exposed to a swing-back attack. He just needed to crawl to Mini's main via the south imo, while doing his vulture harrass on the 9 o'clock.
And the end, well that's why you add 10 turrets in your base at some point vs carriers. It's 750 minerals cheap.

I agree he should've played a lot more aggressive but the map is tough for that. So many very narrow chokes.

Final match RO 16 light vs mini...this is pretty insane

This could easily have been the final. At least before the season started it wouldn't be a bad prediction for the final.

I agree, but I wouldn't call it a throw. Royal was a bit too scared and gave mini the space he needed to get a critical carrier count. Probably Royal felt like there was no way to lose and played ever so slightly too passive.
