The r08 has biased me to expect stomps. I can easily envision either player just big man-ing their way through the other.
Making a prediction either way feels ... awkward. If I do it backwards and try and predict who will lose, it sounds just as wrong.

I hope whoever plays better today wins. I'm a new Soma fan and I want him to do well, but I don't have enough towels to dry my monitor from all the 'zvz finals' crying.

Queen vs Flash(R) would be the best finals matchup I can envision. Followed by Larva vs Flash and then Soma v Queen.
I do not want to see Soma vs Larva.

According to a number of you, there is thought to be difficulty is gaining an advantage RvZ. I have always thought ZvRT and ZvRZ to be hard as hell and that is was very easy to end up in a worse spot. I am interested to see how that plays out.
Especially, if I have literally been approaching the matchup assbackwards for the last 20 years lol.

Flash didn't lose a single game this ASL. Soma definitively has potential to eliminate Flash here, but the question is if he has the nerves.

Definitely thinking this will be Flash's hardest opponent so far for his random. Kinda think Soma might just stomp him. Despite the hype, I think this is where the Random will fall extremely flat, in the RvZ matchup. But I would love to be proven wrong, I'm massively rooting for Flash.

Torn between my daily plan and the time of the ASL I will likely choose to skip ASL and watch the vod later. But it is so exciting to have random Flash vs anybody. Whatever the outcome though, the better player will win so I will be glad no matter what.

online it would be easy stomp for Soma, offline though its almost flip imo..
Flash can easily keep up with Soma early/mid game with P, late game he stand no chance
ZvZ is big edge for Soma, however Flash with 6th sense can easily pull it off.
TvZ is almost a flip, maybe small edge for Flash, but Soma is playing flawlessly recently and his zvt is top-notch

Overall 4:2 for Soma imo.

I just want fun games but i have expectations that Souma should win this. Zerg should have the easiest time vs Random Flash.
