ahhh TT Flashhh!! That 2nd time drawing terran and not getting the win.. . All respect to Soma, hope he wins the season (or papa-Z Larava^^) but I feel that I could see some of the toll it takes on practicing that many different mu's. The 2nd tvz Flash's handling and unit control slipped a bit (for his standards) losing vessels too fast, not capitalizing on the fast +1 move out.. not scouting the hidden base, If he'd won that game it might have turned out differently. But anyhow I think soma had flash's number in both the vs p game and vs z in the end. gg's

Congrats Soma!
Even though we only have ZvZ left... You have to be happy for the guy, and realize how important this moment is for him.

Anyway, with ZvZ the only way to go is up because most of us expect very little of it, that even one long match could be very exciting. Crossing my fingers that we'll get to see that rare mix of red tatoos, green goo and purple haze.

great.. ZvZ is literally the worst match up (for me at least and for 99% of bw gamers I know)

I couldnt have cared less who wins despite for the fact that with soma winning we have a certain ZvZ final

the PvZ on Ringingbloom definitely showed that flash PvZ is great btw.. he ALMOST made it kinda close despite LOSING his nexus..

GGs overall and better series than the ZvPs before.. I will.. probably not watch the final live.. and maybe not watch it at all... as ZvZ is super super boring overall (unless it is played on super crazy maps..and 1/500 zvzs is special on normal maps)

No offence, but some ppl calling this series a disappointment because of the games' quality ("unexpectedly low") don't seem to weight enough the fact that Flash plays random... You couldn't expect top games, the thrill came from the insane challenge that guy put on himself, imo. Even his Tv should suffer a bit from not knowing whether he even draws it or not.
I really enjoyed how much suspense there was at every game's start until everyone knew what race he rolled, and until Soma figured it out. That brought s.th. fresh to broadcasted top-lvl BW.

I think we saw that Flash does relatively (RELATIVELY) poor in certain finicky-tricky situations that the different matchups provide, like that poor zealot handling on the ramp in the PvZ or his scourge-micro in game 1, his ling micro in the last game.
Given those at this point unsurmountable disadvantages, due to a sheer lack of experience/familiarity, it's amazing what he does just with the knowledge he accquired in all matchups and with his tactical decision making. (edit: and his macro across all matchups... we almost take that as a given...) Obviously we would see some gambles or risky builds like in his 2nd and 3rd ZvZ to try and exploit the random-advantage.

Me for my part, I was entertained throughout.

Nice touch, BLinD-RawR, with the banner having three drones and a die.

Soma withstood great pressure. Losing 1:2 and playing against Flash Terran, ended winning that game. I lost my nerves after Flash dropped Soma's main.

As someone mentioned, this could be better for Flash - not winning another title right away. It may motivate him to play more.

Good luck to Soma in the finals. Queen already has a title, I wish Larva could do well, too.

Very well played from both players. Game 4 was a bit sloppy from Flash, but other than that I think he played really well considering the build orders.

A lot of Flash's build is very calculated risk, and in this case, it just didn't work out especially for game 2 and game 6. I would say game 6 is really the only lucky bo win that soma had, the others he just won the mind game. Soma showed some really strong games.

Damn, I'm a Flash fan so I'm probably a little biased, but I feel that Random took away from Flash's ability to show good games. I hope he just mains P if he wants to keep off-racing. Even though he lost G5, how he was recovering after his mistakes early on was pretty impressive. I feel he didn't get enough of a chance to show his PvZ skills. But I'm happy for Soma, I'm a fan of his too, and he's truly a top Zerg and I hope he wins the whole thing.

Suprising how even progamers were so sure Flash winning even when Soma has been so on point and practicing without streaming. I enjoyed games (except game 2). Soma was on point!

ahhh that last game was so underwhelming

g1 - very funny to see flash's muta micro
g2 - my brain not big enough to understand 3 hatch before pool in ZvZ
g3 - this is the destruction i'm used to seeing
g4 - a little sloppy w/ the scourge hits, but soma really penetrated flash's mineral line so effectively
g5 - idk soma is just in insane form
g6 - at least we got to see a headshake from soma, and also hands off keyboard at the end.

What an amazing treat this series offered! Soma is beastly, Flash as well - stunning skill with all the races.
ZvZ finals or not, I am thrilled to watch them all. BW offers the greatest entertainment for me, nothing compares to it.

To be fair if he wins the second TvZ he is heavily favored to advance
