Anyone know what time the qualifier starts?
|
My player nOOB(ajuk12) says he plays at 11am KST which is a little over an hour from now.
|
Might have already started. The official stream didn't start until later in the day yesterday. Might have to wait a bit.
|
Qualifiers start at 8:30 am kst iirc. Broadcast starts after the first few rounds have been completed.
Excited to see the Soul clan players in action!

Thanks RAPiD! 2 out of 5 made it! Sucks Scan can't participate
|
Also, my player said that the qualifiers have yet to start.
|
Yeh I don't see the brackets up on Challonge yet

Flash could win this tournament with no wrists in either of his arms (gross thing to say but true) so I bet his disinterest in asl is due to financial stability irl rather than any other medical factor. 80k is nothing to scoff at financially though so honestly Audiences should excpect great matches this year

Any word if any players are boycotting today’s qualifier because of disconnects in last night’s qualifier? Thanks.

you just made some assumptions based on nothing really
flash statement he dropped out of ksl/asl for his wrist injury. (JD/Last also have wrist problems its common among progamers)
some facts that back up that claim:
he is loaded with cash, for a long time (alot of prizemoney in bw esports/banking in streaming and a rich family) so he does not really need to play for the prize money since forever.
he said before he wants to win 4 ASLs...before the army. he is now at 3 ASL wins...
flash is a competitive person even still always wants to be #1 in esports.
im saying it does not make alot of sense for him to skip ASL/KSL the wrist claim might very well be true
some Korean netizens mentioned he skipped KSL to dodge another lose or skip one of the two tournaments to focus on the ASL to prevent another lose .. but yeah that's basically gossip & assumptions

Got a rough time stamp for his game? Thanks
|
anyone know if JD is playing in ASL or not?
|
He's not seeded and he's not been in the qualifiers so assume no
|
Afreeca chat is saying an official cast will start from 1pm (in 40 minutes)

Interesting game on Larva's stream
ZJD vs JyJ Game #3
JyJ went 1 base 2 port wraiths and looked like he was going to break ZJD but he brought out the queen for the wraith-ensnare and is now looking like he might win
oh wow he breaks him with 3 marines remaining on one base and he just can't get enough to kill them that's a punch in the gut
Looks like Artosis just got knocked out Cadenzie is out too

Alright, the Offical channel is up and running. Let's do this shit, people. I hope to fuck we don't have a fountain of DC problems this time.

jyj is on the gateways that is checkmate

Once again, this toss is up a creek sans a paddle. Needs to pull something special out to win this now.

5000 minerals, 150 supply... Not enough gateways?

|
it was JyJ vs ???? who was the protoss

Did someone already qualify in group 5? It looks done. And group 6 is almost done.

Couldn't find Pusan in any of the brackets. Can someone confirm he was not playing Jeonju or am I just stupid?

Pusan is still out there, maybe him instead of an amateur.

I'd say maybe Pusan instead of Sangho/Piano then
I have a good feeling that we'll get another amateur qualifying tomorrow!
Not confident about Shine either... : ( what's happening to bag of builds?

has stork been playing in ASL at all? What about movie or jaehoon?

Why Shinee (T) who has about 20 nicknames in top 100 of the world, he has never reached to round 24 of ASL?

I heard that he is officially banned from some tournaments, not sure about ASL.

if im not wrong e.hazard[lmao] was the first amateur to reach 2500 pts this ladder season. strikes me as a very solid player with good fundamentals from what i seen on stream, ie. zelot visibly hates playing against him as he almost always crush his cheese/aggressive builds easily. hope he could be the first amateur to make some results in the ro24.

Why is Jaedong not playing in ASL7?
And I don’t mind Shinee. I thought it was pretty funny when he smurfed Scan and beat him.
Beast and Shinee have been at the top of the ladder before. So they are both very good online. I am rooting for them to advance tonight.

His wrists dont have much longer and he needs to focus on health i think. Also military is probably coming up for him as well.
