Somewhat disagree, the organizers are clearly just basing the map pool off of the Blizzard ladder, if players want to complain about the map pool, they should do so to Blizzard, not every tournament host that comes up. Like it or not, most (all) people hosting large events were not active in the Brood War community from 2010-2017, so it's kind of unrealistic to assume that they would come in with any other map pool than what Blizzard picked. The only thing for me is that it should not be called "Open" when there are 3 QF spots of 8, but that's a minor aesthetic. | ||
