Always really liked Sea, a lot, even though he never quite achieved much of anything spectacular. Hell of a run to make it to the Finals, been loving watching him last couple ASL's.
But at the same time... love for the Ultimate Weapon is undying. Thing is almost all of the time I'll be pulling hard for Flash... just in this case... I'm almost 50/50 on this one. Either winner would be a great story and satisfying personally to see, so mostly just hoping for some truly great games. Flash obvs the favorite but Sea has shown some surprisingly good TvT at times and we all remember how Last destroyed Flash 3-0 in the previous ASL in this same matchup.
Crazier things have happened. Head says Flash but with a big asterisk. If Sea takes the first map or at least doesn't go down 0-2 then I feel he really does have a decent chance. We'll see.
This ASL has been fantastic... and if JD keeps improving... and we'll have players like Bisu and the Dragons (+ Rain, and Soulkey!) putting up good fights, with some newer surprise talents challenging for upsets. Exciting future ahead for BW. Who would have thought anyone would be saying this in 2017 :o
TvT is the best matchup in the game and watching Flash's TvT is absolutely unreal. Sea's intuitive, plucky style is the perfect foil to Flash's mistake-proof positioning play, at least from an obs perspective. Sea should get absolutely rolled but this should be intensely fun to watch.
The best part is we're not going to see a 20 minute finals. Hope this goes to at least 4 games with at least 1 hour-long slugfest showing Flash's ridiculous multitasking and ability to press independent objectives all over the map at once.

Heh even Thoorin (primarily a "popular" big CS:GO + LoL pundit) is talking up the resurgence of BW in one of his videos which is cool to see. There's a gif of him hanging out at some SSL finals so he's always been at least a bit of an appreciator.
Will be interesting how much more prominence BW continues to build internationally in 2017...
edit: Watching his video and all the name drops are on point. Really knows his shit. "Most of the bigger stars are back... except for maybe Fantasy... shame" heheh word. I'd LOVE to see Fantasy back in the scene.
