thanks for posts, don't care if I win as long as the games are entertaining. Group A has the nicest balance of anticipation/races. Group B can be entertaining if the builds are executed well.

Twitch had some issue where they reset all the passwords and stream keys so I lost access to the TL stream and there wasn't anybody around who could fix it :D

Another change from TLS S1,each Ro24 group will be played with best-of-1 and each Ro16 group will be played with best-of-3 Dual Tournament (ODT) format, seeding players into an eight man best-of-5 single-elimination bracket.

What happened to BO3? Rules changing on the fly?
Sayle explained it earlier, it's Bo3 in winner's/loser's/final match but Bo1 openers

Sonic style.
ODT style. Sonic does bo1 for winners/losers.
Nah that's the Neo Sonic. This is the original Sonic. :3

He does? thought it was 2 bo1s and 3 bo3s for him >?

For the SRT right now he does Bo3 match 1 and 2 Bo1 winners match and losers match Bo3 final match.

Thanks, next time someone should update OP too. Quite frankly I was hoping RO16 to be BO1 fully. It has been traditional for BW to be 1 game and not BO3.
WOW, SZIKY'S FLANK. HOLY HELL! That was SO sudden. I didn't even see him repositioning/getting ready for it and BAM, Sziky crushes Draw's force. Probably cuz Draw only had like 1/2 his army out and didn't reinforce. Still, Sziky so good.

I wouldn't call outsider balanced because it's a really bad map for Terran
The pro stats for bothversions are within ballpark of balanced (nothing worse than ~60%, and every race gets sent). At sub-pro level, as long as the map isn't ridiculously imbalanced, player skill is more important.
yeah bizzy was way behind, 6oclock wasnt mining and those guardians killed 15scvs that bizzy suicided. This is the best LRT btw since twitch is down <3
Really surprised Bizzy lost a TvZ in a BoX to a non-sziky zerg... His play was really subpar today (although he seemed strong vs me that game was close)

I dunno, his macro was really lacking in games 2 and 3 for someone of his caliber(I missed game 1). Sad that he lost but toying around after a won game then losing is the worst way for it to go down imo
Bizzy over-estimated his lead in Game 2, and Bakuryu punished him hard for it. Game 3 Bizzy was definitely trying his best, but Bakuryu just outplayed him. ^^
I think about taking baku serious or not, if you watch bizzy TvZ in FPVod when he streams its like 10x better than what he showed. Granted Bakuryu did well regardless for the situations given.

He looked really bad against Drone in the qualifiers too. If you don't take the game seriously and just play bad in them I don't care how good you are in practice.
last exam tomorrow!! (going to play 25hr straight) cant wait for TLS, it feels like its been forever.
Group C has ramms/skzlime/terror/g5 and ramms+skzlime went 1-1 in their group last season in Ro16, terror 1-0'd ramms in Ro24 group. I am expecting Terror to take the group as he will probably be more prepared than skzlime and his TvP is quite strong (not to mention ramms pvt isnt that strong). The next person to advance I predict is probably going to be Ramms even though I want skzlime to advance (4 sas in Ro8 would be a nice repeat of last season). Despite it being G5's best match up, I predict he will most likely beat Ramms in the Bo1 but probably nobody else as they should know what he will do.
Group D, techincs beat eonzerg @ outsider last defiler tour so eon has a chance to avenge himself in TLS. Really it's only between these two. Dewalt is playing other games and I don't know if Wands is preparing or not (he had some internet connection issues) but even well prepared I don't think he can advance the group as eonzerg and technics are too strong. Probably Dewalt will try some fancy all-in esq tactics and get a few wins here and there but I have a bad feeling he will exit 0-2.
