I hope oov > july tonight Seriously, July had the EASIEST trip to the finals I've ever seen. He destroyed Stork, rolled over Rock, stomped all over the Pusan who claimed he spent sleepless nights figuring out how to beat July. yeah i'm new. as new as ssamjang vs everlast (bet you didn't see that, huh?) i repeat: none of them was so constistantly dominating. boxer was always fighting hard to win. yellow never won. ^^ ok, boxer's tvz was pretty consistant, but in tvp and tvt you never knew what was gonna happen. | ||

But only cus july owns this type of map comparativly. I mean he relys more on micro/macro, then strategy and expanding (Strategy type stuff to secure expands) And at least the entrances to main bases are perfect for hold lurkers  | ||

not only has oov's recent record vs. july been good, but he has two matches on cultivation period + 815, and the other maps aren't really biased against him whatsoever. you guys can believe all you want, but simple facts show july's odds aren't so good. | ||

I saw that one. And also, only nada can even compare to boxer when it comes to dominating. Boxer is the only person to win two osls in a row, then place 2nd at the 3rd. The only reason he slumped after that was because IS scheduled him too hard and didnt leave him enough practice time. Before TvP turned into a macro party Boxer's TvP was considered the best. Heck, during SKY 2001 Boxer himself was considered invincible, only losing a single match on his way to the final. (Funny that he lost to the macro protoss Reach). The final versus garimto is still one of the most tense - if not THE most tense final ever. Personally I am really looking forward to the finals this time. Oov only had Boxer as a serious threat along with the surprise Casy, while July had an even easier way to the finals, only being defeated by Boxer (and in really classic Boxer style). Three tosses and Iris is no real competition for July. | ||
