Started rooting even more hard core for Jangbi, though that he was going to be busted in game 5, survives, expoes and takes it. Now i feel sad - sad that it is the last OSL, sad that Zero lost (allthough someone had to i guess) but happy that it was such an amazing, amazing series. I love you BW!

1) You're using the word "elucidate" incorrectly. "Please enlighten me" or "Please elucidate this for me" would be better alternatives. 2) You are the one making the claim (that 10 million people watched the last OSL finals in China)--therefore, the responsibility is on you to provide proof to backup your claim, not for someone else to prove that you are wrong.

He challenged me on that part so the ball is in his court to prove it wrong. To break it down, its pretty much "Oh yeah the Chinese viewers have like 10 million people in watching BW!" to which person B responded "Nah, that's bullshit man! Chinese viewers have 10 million counts" 3) And oh yeah if you want prove, go read maybenexttime's post on the topic.

Actually, according to argumentative logic you are the one with the so called ''Burden of proof'', and it's up to you to prove your claim is true. Putting that responsibilty over to the one criticizing your claim by going ''If you can't disprove it, I'm right'' is kind of a logical fallacy.

I was so sad for zero when he lost. I mean I wanted jangbi to win and I'm glad he did, but htat was mostly becuase I felt he would put on the better show in the finals (zero has had a horrible record vs fantasy and vs flash in the last 2 years). but I really felt his pain at the end of game 5. He is surely one of hte most skilled zergs to ever play the game but missed his last chance ever to solidify that with a gold medal (in fact, it was the last chance zerg will ever have at a gold :\). I think zero played about as well as you could hope for given his situation, but I really don't think that was the same zero of the past. The zero that beat jaedong in the ABCmart MSL semifinals or who trounced stork 3-0 in the PDPop MSL quarterfinals. The zero we saw today was a guy being worked to death playing 2 games at once and without the opportunity or motivation to put his life into the series like he could before. Like most other progamers right now the certainty of zero's career was destroyed by the announcement of the transition to SC2. had the sponsors stayed zero would be set for the next few years to play BW as the ace for woongjin and eventually on airforce ACE. but now there's a strong chance he may not be relevant anymore in SC2. the amount of pressure on him to perform well in SC2 must be HUGE, especially when he clearly wants to give the last BW OSL his all. fuck this whole transition isn't fair at all to the players or the fans. even as we try to just enjoy what remains we can't help but think that it all shouldn't end and could flourish for years to come if things worked out just a little better ![]() That's the worst part about it: this series was fantastic and because of that it just reminds us all that it could have been even better and that it didn't have to the end ![]() and that just goes back to my original post: we will never know if Jangbi can continue the great play he showed today for another chance at a title next year or if zero could prove he has what it takes to leave a mark ![]()

That said, I really don't think we got "good ZerO" in this series. Sure, the thought was there, he busted out the queens - but there were too many little mistakes (game one: two OLs at nat, none in main; game five, basically no reaction in mid- and late-game to harass). All his typical weaknesses added up to a series loss - and the games he did win he won with hydras. I don't want to take too much from Jangbi's play - only a true ZvP specialist if that would have beaten him here, and Shine and soO played Terrans. "The Almighty" has gained a certain tenacity over the years: he may not have the "death glare" but the will to win is there. So maybe I'm just bagging on ZerO because I feel like he ought to be able to beat any Protoss, if he plays well, and he lost. Whatever. Jangbi fighting!

You could visibly see how he was losing concentration in game 5 when things didn't pan out just the way he wanted them to. There are situations when Flash does this thing where he burrows his head down and you can tell that he's focusing extra much because the situation requires it. Zero did the exact opposite.
