Dear's "fail timings" were specifically to counter Flash...Dear studied Flash's scanning patters before this weeks match so a) we knew it was a snipe, win coaching for STX b) we can be almost positive it wasn't a fluke. He cancelled his turrets because when Flash did his scans, he didn't see support bay / archives anywhere, so he cancelled his turrets to build a 3rd instead. Cancelling the turrets was his mistake, it almost sounds like Flash's "perfect response" to everything was his own undoing here. If a bad player left the turrets up, instead of cancelling, he might have been alright.

Flash's streak no matter how monstrous had to end some day, and i'm actually happy that he didn't break the longest win-streak record. It's not like this is the end of Flash anyway, you guys are making it out like losing this game means that he has lost all his skills or something. Though it IS a pretty big deal that his winstreak was stopped(to me at least). Have been keeping a lookout on sHy and Dear ever since they started winning in preliminaries of OSL and MSL during their time in hwaseung, would hope to see better results from them!

If a bad player left the turrets up, instead of cancelling, he might have been alright. Just to ask, are there any other progamers that mindgamed Flash by using his own gamesense against him? I only know of one example which was Snow vs Flash where Snow faked an allin and made Flash wait for a non-existent push when Snow was sneakily expanding to some other map and Snow got such a ridiculous economic advantage that Flash couldn't stop him. I don't know if there are any such games in TvZ though..
