To clarify, Flash scanned around looking for the support bay, plus he saw an obs as it flew over his base. Didn't see the Support Bay + Obs First = Flash assumed no speed shuttle + reaver timing.
Dear was like fuck it and went and got speed + reaver anyways (whether it was to throw Flash off, or whether he was hoping Flash was unprepared, or whether he was going to do it anyways). Flash would have been ready for this, but after scouting the third, he cancelled his turrets so he had the money to plop down a third cc.

So Flash basically got metagamed? Well, when your builds are so fine tuned and efficient, it's bound to be exploited at some point. If Flash wasn't God maybe he wouldn't have cancelled those turrets!

What a sick build by dear. Incredible mind games, totally outsmarted flash. Depite knowing this had to happen eventually, I'm absolutely shocked that flash was outsmarted and outplayed by Dear.

I just rewatched the vod. The brilliance of Dear's timing is hard to exaggerate.
After the first scan hit the main base, Dear sends the Shuttle to wait by the cliff over his natural, to avoid detection (the Probe was already up there). Due to the placement of the Support Bay, the first scan misses it. Then the second scan goes down, but it's also in the main, further to the left, looking for hidden tech. At the same time, the Obs reaches Flash's base, and based on what he's seen with his scans (and perhaps because of the Obs shadow), he cancels his Turrets. Mere seconds later, the Reaver finishes and the Shuttle goes to pick it up. Soon shuttle speed is done as well.
From the first scan until the Shuttle is shown moving towards the main to get the Reaver, these events span about 28 seconds in total, most of them only a few seconds apart. They fit together so perfectly, it makes me think of choreography. It's totally unbelievable Dear pulled that off.

How is successfully hiding your tech not outsmarting your opponent?
Dear didn't do some spectacular epic game, sure, I'll give you that...but Flash kinda got owned. When your play is flawless (like Flash's usually is), hidden tech or something tricky like that is the perfect way to get through the armor.. Dear pretty much played in a way that totally countered Flash. Very similar to how sHy (I think?) dismantled Bogus (the ragequit no gg game)...Protoss forced bogus to 1rax expand by being a cheesy dbag, then played a build that absolutely DECIMATED 1rax FE (2 gate -> Proxy robo + reaver ggson)
