So, my question is:
1) It feels to me like Protoss player did have too many Corsairs, not enough units. Did Z player capitalize on this? Is that why the bust worked? 2) Do attacks like this frequently happen, or are they rare?
1. Reavers are usually able to defend against this, but they need enough support. Jangbi should've gotten D web to stop the hydras. 2. They always attack like this when the toss goes Sair/Reaver. If you want to see it done right, watch Bisu vs Jaedong on Andromeda.
1) Hmm, if I remember right from the old days, D. Web was the one that nullified defense structures from shooting. Does it have any other function, I mean what you describe sounds like dark swarm. Does that work that way? 2. Cool, so it's a reactionary action.
dweb is kind of a reverse dark swarm, things under it can't attack.

It stops anything under the web from attacking, so units under it can't attack either, but they can move around (they can also be attacked so it's not like dark swarm)

No one really uses it anymore though :/
Except Shuttle. Against Terran.
it might have worked if he hadn't executed it terribly
edit: i remember watching and being like, oh man, that army can beat flash's army! and then he controlled his army really badly and got rolled

Also, someone suggested me the Jaedong v. Bisu game and I'm checking it out now, thx for it!

throwing maelstrom requiers alot of apm ? ok. and even if yes, then bw progamers do have the highest apm in esports right ? Protoss players really need to do something about those hydrabusts and ht snipes
