Also i dunno why people assume that Jaedong won't be able to regain his vZ or vP considering he's done it before, and only just recently got his vT to new heights. Certainly not time to write him off at all, that would be completely stupid. His vP problems are strategic instead of mechanical. And his vZ is probably half strategic problems (12hatch all the time? it's not 14cc!) and half muta micro. It's clearly overcome-able...

Jaedong still has the spark of awesomeness, but you have to admit now that his ZvZ is now officially his worst match-up (ZvT being the strongest).

Yeah definitely, it's not like the turn-around was instant though, there's been a sign of this for ages. I guess it was inevitable that Z's would catch up in this matchup. Between any of the top Zergs you can no longer predict a ZvZ series at all.

I don't think he can ever reach 80% ZvZ again simply because of the improvements of everyone else more than his own skill declining (even though his muta's are noticeably worse).

BTW I also predict Flash taking some desperate measures due to his wrist conditions and his understanding of the fact that it might prevent him from winning. This might be even more dangerous than his standard play, as Flash is known for his mindgames.

I expected Jaedong to lose. Hes been playing supbar and his wins vs T, IN MY OPINION, were Flash's fault rather than Jaedongs skill.
I will not be surprised AT ALL to see Flash failing against Hydra. Simple because Hydra and Zero are arguably the best Zergs out there right now. (Im not much into Zergs, sorry if Im mistaken)
If Flash cant win against Jaedong, he probably wont win against Hydra. Sure, he defeated Hydra in an ace match at PL, but so did Mind, who won the first set as well. So yeah, my body is (unfortunately) ready for another ZvZ finals.

Well, huge props to Zero. My favourite Zerg of all time, I always enjoyed the way he played. I dont like Zerg but he always made vZ matches fun to watch and I cant wait to see him performing in the finals.

jaedong's tvz is not subpar, it doesnt matter if you discount the flash games or not, he has played really well against other solid terrans. his zvz is struggling, and his zvp just needs a bit of work

you act like the only good vT games he played were vs flash

The Golden Badge is for the OSL while this is the MSL though right? He's already got the badge for 3 OSLs. It's just the MSL (which he's lost 3 times now in the finals iirc). 9 finals but unfortunately only 5 wins. It's a shame nobody counts silvers for anything in Starcraft, only winning matters otherwise his record would seem a lot more impressive - especially for a Zerg.

Btw for the guy talking about his vT not being that good, it's 22-5 this year. 2 of those losses to Flash and Light so pretty much excusable, and 1 of them being a insane cheese from Reality. So very good record all in all, and impressive games in there.

as a flash fan, i genuinely am unhappy, because i respect jaedong as his greatest rival. jd makes flash and vice-versa. and if flash loses to hydra, i might ditch the finals and play the sims or something...
