I lost to a 5 gate push yesterday that consisted of 10 marines, 12 vultures, 10 tanks, 4 goliaths, and 3 scvs at 100 supply while I had double expanded. Harsh realities of life yo - BW isn't a macro game if your opponent decides to all-in or timing push.

Here's my take of what happened with Flash vs Best:
1)Flash didn't get the chance to scout Best properly early game, forced to play defensive, Best takes early map control as a result with his goons.
2)Uses some goons to block natural and pylons to block 3rd. best went straight for obs. Any sneaky dropship play and mine contain will get shut down by Obs, and he sure can't push against the amount of troops from Best's quick 3rd and obs support.
3)Flash figures fuck it, I will play a macro game and starts expanding, because normally, an unharassed macro Terran>unharassed macro Protoss due to the 200 200 death ball. And he know's hes Flash. He knows his slow death metal push is boss.
4)During this time Flash cannot attack or be aggressive because he does not have the troops to defend 4 bases at the same time.
5)Best moves out swiftly and mercilessly as he maxes out first from early economy advantage and uses tech advantage of storms to hit Flash at the very end of his tank/supply/turret/mine conga line. Weakest possible spot.
6)Bigger concentrated protoss army raped spread out smaller Terran army, especially at a location furthest away from production. Storms punished the mobility of Terran as Flash shifted all his forces to defend and took it hard when he sieged reinforcements.
7)Huge lead protoss shoves his protoss balls down terrans choke over and over again like how a sauron zerg rapes a fortified protoss position. Nothing new. Flash showed he is still Flash by defending well for a while.
In summary, I think Best hit a very good timing window, when his army was at max potential and right before Flash got a full TvP macro going using early game advantage. Flash got cocky and figured his tank line was boss like it usually is and thought he could hold out till he was ready.
Same reason he lost to Bisu imo, overconfident in his tank line power, then protoss comes and attacks the tips of his tank line and moves up the line crushing everything.

It was more because of flash loss rather than bisu win. bisu is 6-2 vs harder opponents compared to flash's 3-3. I don't think that a guy who is .500 should be #2 or #1 depending on whether you still think JD should be ahead of flash or not.

I still don't get why this is so unimaginable. Considering the whole month, i.e. SWL PO included and the start of R5, I think he has the best month. Clearly he is not by far #1 but at least he has to be considered and has a real chance for this spot, but thank god the month is not over and time will tell.

Hmm, did Best even lose a single probe that game? Anyway, can't wait for his interview. I was worried he was about to be demoted when he wasn't even fielded during that 7 game ordeal with ACE.

I'm too happy with how BarrackS and Action played to be too disappointed in the result. Action was 0-4 versus Fantasy before today, this win will be huge confidence booster for him. He now holds recent wins over both of SKT's ace players!
