Hydra and great just tried to knock out the competition early, nothing wrong with that.
Boxer made it very clear, e-sport is about entertainment. To defy the emperor means destroying e-sport. Hydra's douchebaggery is the opposite to Boxer's vision.
Fans comes first after you. And by doing what Hydra/great did, they just admitted that they are inferior to the TBLS. they will always be overshadowed by them.

Best thing to happen for me, is that 1. KESPA trolls Hydra and Great and switches them with Jaedong (so he doesn't have to ZvZ) and Sea (since he's nothing for me).... 2. Flash and Bisu beat the shit out of the troll zergs 3. Flash and Bisu advance together with Jaedong and Stork... 4. They meet in the RO4/semis 5. one of the TBLS wins 6. Savior returns and the winner has a final match with Savior for his pro gaming license LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Holy shit group D is sick!

It's somewhat disappointing, but, on the other hand, this MSL will be remembered for something other than just great games. Having such a strong group of death is something very rare and unique. I like that.
Imo MBC should make a rule that all matches in a group of death (possibly the one with the highest total KeSPA points to be objective) are Bo3. That'd solve the problem.

"Oh no's not having the same exact players in the finals every single season, terrible for e-sports!" Hydras such a boss, fuck all the haters.

I think Jaedong is in deep trouble. Bisu and Flash are just walking over every possible Zerg around and Sea has a decent chance with his TvZ. Anyway, Group D is dumb, I hope this kind of 'selection' will never happen again ( Jaedong, please, just 2-0 them...)
Other than D, groups are average, I'm only mildly interested with some ZvT like Hydra vs Light, Soulkey vs Fantasy and Shine vs Reality.

Light is going to destroy Hydra, but Hydra should be able to make it through GGmaeo

I predict a tie breaker betwen Bisu Flash an SEA !!!! I also wanna see Grape and Snow advance in their groups =D FBH FTW !!

People need to calm down, pro gamers like Hydra and great want to win as many individual league titles as possible, can you really blame them for setting it up like this?
Group D is indeed a group full of S-Class players but that doesn't mean that because they are S-Class it excuses them from facing other S-Class in Bo1's especially in the ro32. If i had the seeding power, I woulda done the same thing, simply to better my chances at winning.
Sure everyone loves a FvsJ or JvsB or whatever, but we must remember their are 32 players in this tournament and each one has the possibility of producing memorable games.

Oh how much I want this to happen too~ I would like the best for a Bisu vs Stork or Jaedong or Flash finals where Bisu wins after a crazily hard-fought battle...
Gosh... I'm starting to dislike great and Hydra... hope for Jaedong and Bisu to advance..... If bisu takes the first set and then meets Jaedong in the winners game, he has a high chance of advancing... then i hope jaedong pulls out the second win... If only................ why does the MSL schedule so that Group D is last??? -_-;; I wish it were earlier~ but oh well Any rules to how they're seeding it? or do they do this so that the people won't lose interest if their favorite players loser early (I know I stopped watching intently last MSL after JD and Bisu went out...)

Wrong tourney, MSL is a winners/losers bracket so first player moves on with 2-0 and second player moves on with a 2-1.

I was thoroughly entertained in the group selection, and, when all is said and done, it's a competition, a dog-eat-dog world. You have to do whatever you can do to win.
That being said, this generates a lot of hype and attention for this MSL, including the storyline of "Who will knock out Hydra and Great?" and "Who's coming out of Group D?"

I think Group D is the most epic group in a MSL history.

Predictions!
Group A should be mostly a walkover for Hydra. Light might give him some trouble, but Light hasn't been very good recently, and it is individual leagues so he ain't going anywhere. Heart says ggaemo for the second spot, head says Tyson. Meh, follow your heart. Hydra and ggaemo.
Group B, Leta should advance no trouble, second spot is tricky. I think Classic should be able to beat great, then lose to Leta, then have to face great again in the final match. Seems that people tend to split a lot when they have to play the same person twice in this format, so I'll say Leta and great will advance, unless Hyuk decides to recapture some of his elusive magic.
Group C is easy. ZerO is the clear favorite here to take the whole thing, and Horang2 is boring but very very consistently above average, so ZerO and Horang2.
Group D could legitimately be the final 4. I think after this, nothing can truly be called the group of death ever again. Given current forms, Flash and Bisu. What I really want to see happen, Jaedong and Sea. I'll play the odds on this one, and call the upset.
Group E... why did Mind draw such a horrible group, I really wanted him to do well. Oh well, I think it's gonna be Stork and firebathero in this one. Free still hasn't quite gotten back up to full form yet, although he could probably beat Mind.
Group F is a nightmare for Fantasy - triple zergs, even with his recent TvZ hot streak, is gonna be painful. I think this will conspire to knock him out (he can't mech EVERY game), and of the zergs, Soulkey and Roro are playing the best right now, so Neo.G_Soulkey and RorO to advance.
Group G is the opposite of Group D in every way possible. This is going to be a derpfest. Snow and by.hero, probably, and Snow will just have to hope he can draw a terran in the Ro8.
Group H is Shine's best chance to reclaim that hot streak, playing Reality. If he loses to Reality, he's done. If he manages to beat him and reclaim some confidence, he might have a shot of 2-1ing his way out of the group. Kal will 2-0 easy, obviously, so I'll hope against hope and say Kal and Shine.

Soulkey is 4-1 against fantasy, and was the single reason why Fantasy got knocked out of MSL Ro32 last time (Soulkey advanced by beating Fantasy twice).
Soulkey vs Fantasy
