Yea its definitely possible since the area in front of the nat isn't unbuildable, but I'm not sure that you'd be able to get away with it in modern PvZ play

Have i missed something how did PvZ suddenly swing in P's favour recently. The maps are not even particularly good... this greedy playstyle every Z tries to do never works now. I only caught the end of the Great game but it looks like he was attempting the 4base turtle on 2 mains strat, which i've seen lose ALL THE TIME, it does not work stop fucking doing it!

Long answer: I don't actually know, the short answer is just one of my pet peeves, I'm so happy that most protoss are finally making more than 2. Jangbi used to lose PvZ like that all the time: 2 corsair -> scourged -> fail DT -> epic storms that just don't dent a massively ahead zerg army. (Of course, now PvZ is all he's good at, so w/e).

I'd say its the change in the fundamental strategy of PvZ. Before, it was 4 Gate 2 Archon, which was powerful, but hit at too late of a timing (in today's timings at least) and was susceptible to Hydra busts. With 4 Gate 2 Archon, you didn't really have the money to spare for the 6 sairs.
Now that the fundamental strat of PvZ is the 2 Gate +1 Speedlot rush, it hits at a faster timing (which sometimes ends up killing zergs outright if they don't have enough defense up in time) and it gets the 6 sairs (because it is necessary for defense agianst Muta openings).
Also a lot of weird offbeat strats are being invented in PvZ, like the ones Jaehoon is using.

Jaehoon moves out with a large force of goons being pumped from his 4 gates into Grape's nat! Grape doesn't have his obs yet, this is gonna be a major shock to him!
They reach Grape's nat and start destroying his pylons and probes are pulled to try to defend the attack! Grape is trying to buy time for his reaver to spawn, but the goons are slaughtering everything and moving into Grape's main base! More probes are pulled to try to hold them off, the reaver finally spawns, but unfortunately for Grape, there are dud scarabs galore for him, and Jaehoon's goons pick off the poor reaver.
Camera does doomzoom on Grape's despairing face, and Grape GGs with disappointment.

Muta's are being made to look as bad as trying to use wraiths against P in recent games except the odd really bad P player. They should take the normal 3rd for a change instead of another nat so they can reinforce quicker and put an end to these easy early-mid game wins for P.
Bit of a basic analysis i know but it's really what it looks like to me. The 3rd hatchery distance and wide spread of overlords is really working against them not for them anymore.

3 Base Hydra/Lurker/Muta is risky as hell though, the most successful game of this recently I'd say was Action vs Bisu, but that's only because Bisu was sloppy with his early sairs and totally completely lost all air-control. In the crucial battle, if Bisu didn't get his HT sniped he would've steamrolled through Action.
4 Base turtle works, its just that progamers are getting TOO greedy w/ the strategy and attempt to cut way too many corners (that smart protosses abuse)

Jaehoon had barely any Probes at his nat, whereas Stork's was fairly saturated. I'm not sure if that was because he didn't build enough or transfer enough, though.

It seems that it all came down to that battle at Stork's nat where Stork had 1 more reaver than Jaehoon, had the better shuttle micro, had better goon positioning, whereas Jaehoon seemed to get a little too full of himself and let his 2 reavers get sniped by Stork's reavers. That's what it looked like to me. With all of his forces decimated by Stork's remaining reaver and leftover goons, Jaehoon was forced to GG after Stork decided to push out with his leftover goons and march into Jaehoon's undefended nat.

I admit I was watching in the small screen, but I though Stork managed to squeeze in a two-reaver drop that wrecked Jaehoon's main probes. And I know in the big battle at Stork's nat Stork was +1 reaver (3 vs 2).
So... not the most careful attention, but I didn't think Stork was that far behind in the midgame, then he won the big battle (barely), pushed in with better econ to support his attack, and won.
Or I could have imagined Stork's drop, I guess.

Yeah you might be right there, i remember one particular game i believe Roro vs Bisu where i was basically shouting at Roro on IRC to sunk up some more... it might not have even made him survive but it was clear a push was coming... they seem to be so intent on being greedy they won't just go and build the static defence required to protect themselves. I think Flash has shown you can infact go heavy on the static defence and still win games... of course that's different because you're losing a drone too, but a heavy sunk line with evos in front is worth the mins imo if it gets you to 4 bases quickly... meanwhile get the mutas out for a bit of harass and 3rd denial.
It's getting to be a pathetic sight Z's trying to hold speedlot busts off with slow hydras or like 3 mutas and 2 sunks.

Based on the replay: Stork won the battle with a hugely better concave + high ground advantage. In other words, Jaehoon pulled a Jaehoon and attacked into an impossible position, throwing the game away.

Replay shows stork was two supply up going into the big fight and won it handily because he had 5 goons on his cliff shooting down. Jaehoon's reavers also didn't accomplish as much as storks did, imo.

well at first when Sea was paying really careful attention to his army, Stork's storms were not being cost-effective and Stork almost lost the game there. It wasn't until later where the Storms were being super effective (because there were so goddamn many of them and also Sea losing focus a bit)

replay cast shows that there was one moment where Hyun could severely damage Stork and he didn't, so Stork got away with super good economy and almost no units defending it... If just Hyun ran by these lings and sniped templars/some probes first, before/instead of trying to just break the nat..

Well. IMO, I think he should of used suicided two more probes to count stork's army to see what hes up too. Before obs came out, it would of allowed him to get out that reaver faster.

Does it change the fact that SKT relied on bisu to get their wins? No. Not saying they aren't deep. Just saying bisu is the biggest reason why they're winning.
Not to mention jaedong was sent 3rd before, same for stork, and both khan and kt have won without using flash or stork.

We refer to teams as a single person when the rest of the team sucks in comparison to them and the team consistently gets a single win or two only from the one winner, such as KTFlash (when only Flash wins on his team) or Jaedong Oz (when only Jaedong wins). The reason nobody (except for you) says SKTBisu is because SKT keeps winning... because plenty of Bisu's teammates are contributing throughout the season. That being said, I never said Bisu wasn't an integral part of the team.
Anyways, I'm not going to argue about this anymore. It seems you misinterpreted me.

One thing that's kind of weird is how teams aren't able to "snipe" top players. Usually it's often in WL that you see a top player lose a game after a win, because he got "sniped". T1 and Hite both had 3 cracks at Flash and failed. Stork has 3-kills and 4-kills in two series. Jaedong's only loss was against Stork. Bisu AKed twice. Even TBLS don't have infinite preparation time for all MUs on all maps. Surely you can win at least once, right?

Well now that you clarify, it makes a bit more sense. But
a) I said SKBisu partly as a joke.
b) I'm not the only one who says SKBisu, it was mentioned couple times a while back. Like a year or two ago.
c) We don't really refer to teams as a single person cause the team sucks, its because there is one person carrying the team, is Bisu carrying SKT? Yes. So that is partly why I say SKBisu. He wins twice a day and ace matches, gets AK for SKT. He is definitely carrying the team. All the other teams don't have a true ace, which is why no other team is referred as a single person.

MBC can win if Pusan comes out of retirement. Just kidding... or maybe not.
MBC will be fine. They've gone through every round with 5 wins and 4 losses. I don't think it will be much different for WL. It will be too tough to catch SKT but finishing the season in 2nd or 3rd place is quite possible.

I feel like a lot of SKT fans these days are protoss fans who happen to be SKT fans because the best protoss for a long time has been Bisu. As a result, those players also like Khan because the number two(and at times, number one) protoss in that same timeframe has often been Stork. I feel like fewer Khan fans are protoss fans in general, however. Personally, Stork is my favorite player, but past that the players I like are scattered across a bunch of teams and all three of the races. Without Samsung, my silly little icon in the bottom right would probably be Woongjin.
Also, SKT fans can get a bit annoying at times.

And if being a fan of a team came down to one player, then Boxer/IntoTheRainbow were definitely the deciding factors for me being a fan of SKT. But seeing as those 2 players have moved on to Starcraft 2, my favorite team would then be Khan because of Jangbi, who is my favorite Protoss player.

I don't hate SKT or SKT fans, and I'm sorry if I gave that impression with my post. I'm also sorry about misrepresenting you, but that is the impression of SKT fans that I have gotten from many LR threads, although not about you personally.

Yeah, even I admit that SKT fans can be annoying at times, but I think you are targeting the Bisu fanboys here... I think that most people find SKT fans to be annoying because we have the most fans, and when we win, of course you will see tons of people shrieking their hearts out about getting a win or rubbing in their win to everyone else, which is done on a lesser scale with other teams because they have fewer fans.

From what I see there is a good number of Khan fans who support Bisu too (and likewise there is a big number of SKT fans who support Stork/Jangbi). In fact calling for more support is not even necessary we are too big already and we can just counter every negative comments towards Bisuor SKT with sheer number lol.
The 3 teams that I support are SKT, MBC and Khan. The reason is because I sense Protoss aura around these teams, (even MBC - a Terran team still has this aura). So it's not just because I want to support the 1st and 2nd Protoss players like someone said before, but I support Protoss team in general.

MBC used to be my 3rd supported team after Khan too, but Woongjin has grown a lot on me lately, so now I cheer for a Zerg-heavy team instead of MBC's heavy Terran-Protoss reliance. It feels kinda awkward as a Protoss fan, but I just find that Woongjin has so much charisma now. :D

I think about half the Khan fans like SKT, the other half doesn't. Maybe some of them have some sort of problem with Bisu or his fans, but I'd bet that it's mostly whether or not they like Fantasy that really splits them.

I must say the majority of the fans don't even express themselves on the forums, so those that do for whatever reason or purpose - they only create image rather than speaking for all of the fans. With that being said - there's usually quite a bit more haters and conflict people than decent and able to discuss individuals - that's just the way modern stupid society works I'm afraid. For good or bad I personally find that 'tis better to ignore direct attempts to get yourself in such a conversation where the only thing you actually do is wasting time on somebody who doesn't deserve it and/or won't accept your arguments anyway.

Make this entertaining, boys! *Goes off to do something else* Last I recall Jaehoon is a protoss as well and one with a good winrate this season.
Once again, I forget that most people on this site read too much into comments. I do tease the players who are generally regarded as "fail players", but that certainly doesn't mean that I don't support them from behind. Hell, my favorite player is Jangbi, who is ridiculed to death nowadays, but I still root for him. I was honestly disappointed when Jaehoon was denied what could have been his first ever all-kill, so don't read too much into my comments next time, and know that I am an underdog supporter. I even believe in Perfectman when he has his moments.

Stork need to be on top of his game if he is to beat Zero in MSL. All maps are at least 60% in zerg favour.
OSL vs Modesty is alot more even, most maps are more or less 50%. There is only one map that is pretty imb for zerg.

But Stork seems to be on top of his pvz nowadays and zero is nowhere near as good at it as he once was. Stork should still be the favorite. Against modesty chances are that it's gonna be a 3-0 or if he's really lucky 3-1. Modesty isn't close to Storks level and without extremely imbalanced maps he is not in the position to take on a player of that calibre in a bo5
