Well it was bound to happen, sad to see SKT and Bisu being beaten but they've done an outstanding job anyway!

wow...not the way I wanted to go to sleep with. But honestly SKT will lose eventually, and it will bound to happen regardless. I knew the fact that Bisu would have lost in Ace eventually. He isn't perfect, we all known this for a very long time. He has his moments where he tries to do something out of character and tends not to work. Then we hope he never does it again.

Then when he plays too safe, we want him NOT to play that way all the time. It's an endless cycle. All we can hope is Bisu not falling back into the pit after doing so well for a good while.

Does anyone not living in Korea, or at least speaking the same language, have any idea what progamers' personality is like IRL anyway? We only have clues thanks to interviews, opening ceremonies and shit, but it's not like anyone knows any player's real personality, except maybe for Sea.

You know if you guys don't have a taste of the progamer's personality through interviews other than thinking they're all "shy and awkward" then that just means I probably completely failed as a translator :[

I mean is it's a well-known fact that players usually play roles during interviews/ceremonies/etc, as opposed to acting naturally as they would with a friend or within their team HQ or whatever. That's not specific to BW at all though. All these things give clues, and that's unfortunately all they do, no matter how fine the translations are.

The point is you're free to point out critical mistake, my issue is why does the blame go completely on Sun, and not Bisu?

It doesn't completely go on Sun. More on him than others tonight, that is all. Anyone's free to disagree.

Congratulations to STX, they displayed a lot of determination and depth tonight. Sad to see two streaks end at once, but neither was going to last forever.

I still applaud Coach Park for his decision to blood less experienced players, and ensure everybody is given an opportunity to shine. I'll be interested to see how he responds from here on in, and whether he continues with this philosophy.

Sick micro in the Ace match from Kal. Bisu gambled and it didn't come off (largely because of Kal's defensive prowess). As a Bisu fan I wished he'd played a more straight-up game, but I see no reason why this should lead to a slump. He's playing well atm, and has been for a wee while now - not at the level of Flash and JD, but he's making progress in the right direction.

SKT hwaiting!!!

Omgomg, had an exam during this, so I couldn't watch. Wasn't feeling too good after writing for 4 hours while sleepy as fuck and freezing to death, but now I feel great again, haha. STX fighting! :D

Ugh. Bisu got anxious i guess. Should've turtled and harassed. Im sure that his micro couldve slowed down Kal.

I have to say Kal's dragoon/shuttle micro was superb and his pylon placement at the final battle was just pure genius. It drew fire from dragoons and made Bisu's scarabs dud, while his hit for maximum damage. Props to him for taking the ace match.

SKT should have sent Fantasy imo. In form, he would wreck pretty much anyone STX could throw at him. I guess Coach Park wanted Bisu to win ace matches to level up his confidence. I wish Bisu just played a standard game though. Flash almost always plays standard and never loses. I guess its something he and Stork have in common. They are not confident enough to win using standard play with just superior management and micro.

I'm still a tad confused. I thought teams were required to play one of each race (well, have at least one of each somewhere in the pre-Ace slots) to promote diversity and force races to be used/worked on in the off chance one seems weaker than others.

Ah well, grats STX. Best got a PvZ, Canata played for some weird reason, and Sun apparently blew a huge lead due to inexperience. Bisu vs. Kal is a fairly even match these days. Bisu may get more hype, but it's not like he's realistically expected to auto-win against Kal.

Least ssak got a win. Yay random FPL points.

Should have sent sun or paralyze instead of canata and a zerg versus shuttle. Weird coaching choices.

Because obviously the coaches know which players the other coach will send, and the maps that he'll send them on.

I don't know how you guys can blame the newbie who was placed in a clinch situation instead of the two veterans who dropped their games earlier on in Best and Canata. When KT loses I don't blame the new guys, I blame ForGG and such because they're supposed to be your anchors.

Well, Canata on grandline makes sense to me, Bogus was just simply better.
GL is an old map and most of it is figured out so all he'd have to do is execute, not as much creative thought there. However, his game was disappoint.

Ooo well, I wish we lost to a different team, but we are still so far ahead it doesn't phase me.
