Grand Line is a fairly Terran-favored map right now (5-2 TvP, 9-4 TvZ). Given that, it's hard to fault the choice of Canata, even though Bogus/Classic was fairly predictable. With Calm playing already, STX didn't have another decent ZvTer to send, so fantasy would have been possible (and his TvT right now is fantastic) but sending a Protoss just doesn't seem smart given the map. Benzene is currently picking up some of the PvP slack left by Central Plains; I'm guessing both Sun and Shuttle were put there on a map basis rather than given the lineup. Even if SKT wanted to try to pick off a Protoss, they couldn't know whether they'd get Shuttle or Kal, and I don't trust any SKT Zerg against Kal. I guess Coach Park wanted Bisu to win ace matches to level up his confidence. I wish Bisu just played a standard game though. Flash almost always plays standard and never loses. I guess its something he and Stork have in common. They are not confident enough to win using standard play with just superior management and micro. SKT knew they were probably facing Kal, who's been very good against all Terrans except Flash for a long long time. Bisu already beat Kal once, and fantasy's "only" 3-2 against Protoss this year. I won't say fantasy would have been unreasonable, but there's no reason to say he was a better choice, either.

The point is, if SKT sent Fantasy in ace match, Bisu's win streak will not be broken, and that is 100 times more important than being in the winning team in the final. Bisu had already defeated Kal in the first match, why send him in Ace so that Kal could have a chance to take revenge. If they sent Fantasy and everyone would be happy regardless of the result.

I find this highly implausible. What I find more plausible goes like this: SKT sends fantasy -> Kal wins. 99% of fanboys "OMG should have sent Bisu he's unbeatable right now SKT so dumb!!!!!"

Both SKT Aces had their confidence up, and I think the deciding factor was probably the map. I can't criticise Coach Park's tactics - the guys a genius. SKT > Bisu, so playing Fantasy to avoid the possibility of breaking Bisu's win streak is just mind-boggling to me.

Problem was By.Sun throwing away a won game (which would have made it 4-2) -.-' Lack of experience? Probably. But there were plenty of other players SKT could have fielded instead of him.

I think you missed the joke. Anyway, good money says Terran do poorly on that map. Look at the player distribution for it: no terrans whatsoever. It's clear that teams are sending mostly protoss and occasionally zerg (about 2:1 iirc). It was likely Kal for STX, considering Calm is still wishy-washy, so SKT could've picked someone to snipe him. Bisu is as good as anyone (dominating this season + earlier win vs Kal), so unless they had a P or Z ready to snipe Kal, there's not much reason to send someone other than Bisu.

I also noticed in the end of game 3 of Ssak vs hero when the winner is doing the high-fives he (accidentally?) disses one player from the team. Made me laugh pretty hard lol.
