doesn't matter does it?
fact is they will lose games. every year koreans lose to foreigners and this year will be no different. in fact this year everything seems to be looking in favor of foreigners even more. no zergs + outside of Korea. it's pretty obvious you're full of shit FA

You guys need to watch fOru vs saferzerg, games 1 and 3. both are amazing pvz games on gorky/chowchow.

Did BoxeR do anything unsafe in his games vs FroZ/JoseZ? Did he risk everything on a 'micro intensive' attack ? Did he place his buildings in a unorthodox place?
I'm not saying this isn't something that can happen to anyone but I think it'd be LESS damaging to someone like xellos/ddang + they are both better at TvT and TvP than boxer etcetcetc.
FA, FA, FA...
You're not actually reading what I've been typing. I never compared BoxeR to XellOs/Ddang in the present. What I pointed out is that BoxeR in 2002 was a way better player compared to the rest of the world than XellOs/Ddang are now to the current scene. And if I would question the possibility of BoxeR advancing from his group 2 years ago you would probably run in with this same confident attitude yelling that there's no way he would lose enough games in his group to make an actual threat.
And even with the BO3 system I still say foreigners will give Koreans a run for their money.

That question was serious btw, I didn't mean it in a condescending way.. I just meant 'do you think you could win the majority of your games or that you'd have an even chance of winning'...

LOL I think Z's are to be preferred since they are much weaker to cheese! Oops I just found this post!!
Fine I deserve all my flames -_- I didn't even remember making it :D! My only defence is lack of sleep (48 hours with total of 6 hours of sleep).
It was mostly made in retortion to this though:

I'll try to write some of the stuff again (no it wasn't deleted I just got logged off while writing :[)
I started thinking about who could beat the terran('s if xellos qualfiies) since I really didn't do that yesterday, I was way too tired I just thought for 10 seconds and didn't come up with anyone so I posted.
TvT... Hm, I guess Elky, FroZ (does he play still and will he qualify?) and uhhhh, I hear Beast is good TvT. It doesn't seem like a lot of terran players will qualify from other countries because of dahlia/khoral and foreign top players mostly being P..
The russians were all T though, right? I guess androide could put up a good fight or even win if he's good TvT (or does he ZvT?).
Testie, if he even qualifies won't play TvT I'm almost certain, nor will any other race picker I think.
Is enjoy good enough? Is suker good TvT (if he qualifies)? I don't think either of these will beat either of the (potentially) 2 korean terrans.
I think I forgot some T's now, I remember my list was longer in my previous post.
As for Z's..Blackman as long as he doesn't get cheesed out of WCG (I hear it's single elim again..), same for tomson I guess (though I really don't know how good you are!)
Ret and Twisted if they practice back to top shape ! I recall ret saying he lost a lot to DDanGG so I dunno, and twisted is slightly worse/same ZvT than ret I think (forgive me Erwin if I'm wrong :D!!!!!)?
Does Testie play ZvT/is he good? (if he even qualifies) I don't think he would win though~~
I really don't know how good mondragon is, especially on WCG maps. Since he has almost no LAN experience (or maybe he has tons of LAN experience in germany), or at least nothing really big I don't think he'd win.
I dunno if any of the racepickers will do ZvT/are good ZvT.
Again, my old list seemed to be longer so I probably forgot some.
I didn't even mention P's intially since there's so many good P's.. However, it was also because I didn't think too many P's would qualify because of Dahlia PvZ and (close spots) PvT Chow Chow + Gorky park PvT and pvz khoral which, while not impossible, is slightly harder on toss than zerg.
But then again, what Z is gonna threaten to knockout nazgul (ret and twisted but holland has 4 spots iirc), Rekrul (4 spots and no really good zergs to worry about) or Grrr (4 spots and only like testie to worry about in the zerg department). Strafe will also most likely go through since holland has 4 spots and only, as far as I know, 4 really good players.
Nazgul isn't in shape (unless he has regained his skills really quickly) so I don't think he will beat them, same with Grrr since as far as I know he doesn't even have a team right now? I don't think strafe would win a BO3 but who knows! If he gets khoral and dahlia I guess it's not impossible. I guess rekrul could beat them if he gets good maps ^_^
Then there's Pj, Cou and hm.. Is Destroyer good? Does germany have any good P's (fisheye quit right? and how many spots do you get?)?
PJ I guess could win a BO3 though I wasn't too impressed by his WCG map play at -_-;; Dunno about Cou, I think the korean T's might be too stable for his playstyle.
I guess sys is still good.. Any good spaniard P's? Maybe hellghost (I dunno if he ZvT's or PvT's) but I'm not sure if he's good enough! Then again, he has the advantage of being able to pick race depending on maps..
I haven't seen too much of sYs PvT so I don't know if he's good, just going of reputation on this one. Zelotito isn't too great PvT I've heard... Hellghost has never really impressed me PvT..
Hm, I seem to be forgetting lots of players from my original list again..
I guess drone, trek and hellghost all could do good, especially because of their race picking~~
Anyways, yeah I guess there's plenty of players that could win a single game/possibly a bo 3 depending on maps).. I still don't think they will (win a bo3 that is) :D! But I just like most korean players more than foreign o.o
Oh yah, and after watching foru vs saferzerg I'm not so sure about foru's PvZ :///
That was really bad -_-;;;

I didn't mean to come off as 'yelling'! And if you would have said that I would have disagreed but only because I'm a boxer fanboy

It has always been DE bo1. This year isn't an exception.

I don't know either. I think I have a good shot, seeing as I don't see anyone practising hard. But with WCG Poland you never know.

I hope ur not serious. Ok i liked his chow chow style but it was a rape so it wasn't an amazing game just amazing strategy. And in Gorky the zerg completely fucks up. If you want more amazing strategies; Check Foru vs Goodfriend@ Korhal and Kingdom vs Niza @ Korhal.

Even in the end, he had no money left, if saferzerg had the resources to just stop that last carrier assault, he would have won. I agree that saferzerg did not play 100% of what he could have played like on gorky, but when you consider the imbalance of zvp on gorky, it was actually pretty good. fOru just raped goodfriend on korhal, he correctly adapted to carriers and just owned him after that. All of those goliaths had no chance. On dahlia, there was a bit of reaver micro, and nothing but rape afterwards.
