JD never complains about the maps even though the MSL map pool was ridiculous, reminiscent of the dark days of the 2008 season. Meanwhile, Flash bawls and some of his fans follow suit, even though it's only one map, and he's got Grand Line as backup. Get a grip folks. There's a 50% chance that it's impossible to win if your opponent makes mutas. Odd eye and PR are bad for ZvT, but not an automatic loss. PS: Jaedong fans had every right to point to the maps as one of the reasons why Flash won. Sea disagrees with you about PR. - If you have to evaluate the late mechanic strategy
▲ In my opinion, if the Terran has absolute control over the late mechanic strategy, then the Zerg cannot win. If a Terran has really great command over this strategy, there is no way Zerg can win in an average map. And Odd-Eye 3 is 7-2 TvZ. Man you don't have actual arguments you just like to copy paste interviews, huh? Tell Light that Polaris Rhapsody is "unbeatable" for Zerg.
Do ling busts really have any relevance? Well, at least you're not complaining about dirty Zerg. :p
Terrans have had a slew of favorable maps, then Zergs get one good map and suddenly the sky is falling.

I hate it so much when people phrase things like that. You overemphasize things by saying a "slew of favorable maps" then denigrate a map that is a guaranteed win for a competent zerg.as just "good."
Odd eye and PR are bad, but they were not automatic losses to the most common terran build order in the game being executed properly.
Imagine if a terran was 99% sure to win if he just 1 rax expanded into 2 rax "push" (IE the thing that makes zerg put up a sunken or two the same way 2hatch mutas make you put up turrets, the most standard things you can think of). That is the level of imbalance. Terrans don't win on odd eye or PR by just going a standard build order and VOILA.

You're right. They're not as bad for Zerg as Dreamliner is for Terran. I'm not sure that having one map where there's a 50% chance of a near-guaranteed loss and a disadvantage even with the other position is actually worse than having to play on three maps that are 60% or more TvZ is worse, though.

The way I differentiate maps like these is a certain distinction. PR and Odd Eye are bad for zerg. If the zerg and terran play at an equal level, the terran will win everytime. But the maps do not lend themselves to automatic wins from certain builds/racial characteristics. There are ways to work around how "strong" terran is with an intelligent or well timed build, or some proper prediction.
Maps like Dreamliner, Battle Royale, and Tears of the Moon are broken. There are no workarounds for certain things that the advantageous race (in this case zerg has been on the favorable side of broken maps in recent times) are likely to do. There's no reasonable counter to the short air distance and easily harassable minerals on dreamliner, as well as other subtle things that make the build even more vicious like the path to the zerg's third gas being as far away as possible, with the only quick route being, amazingly, a deathtrap because of mutas.
Odd eye and PR promote a powerful lategame terran army that is difficult to face, not a nearly unstoppable build order that ranges from imbalanced (if you spawn at 3) to unstoppably broken (if you spawn at 6). It's not a setup that has a much later timing to take advantage of, you either win or come out massively ahead 6 minutes into the game because your race's name starts with a Z.
