It's "Dirty Zerg"! Zerg has to play a standard, by-the-books macro game and roll over to Terran 14cc/mech on crap maps otherwise they're cheesy. Even if they're reacting to the opponent or aren't all-in (JD was only all-in in the last game), the slighest whiff of early aggression is suspect.

Oh true, praising Jaedong! :p As I recall, it was mostly Terrans and Flash fans complaining. And it's going to be those same people complaining about Jaedong's victories as well.
As a zerg player, I found nothing wrong with Effort's strategies.

He had enough mutas to kill them.

Not really for bm I think but more to play mind games with Light and make him cry.

Wasn't it a long time ago where a zerg said "Leave mech for protoss" with a confident tone? :l

the queens stopped mining much faster though... it may have been overkill, but it was certainly efficient

It's nothing compared to zerg rage and whine when terran cheese though. Were you around when Flash kicked out JD in the OSL 2 seasons back? Man, like 5 people were directly tempbanned for the bullshit they wrote.

You know what guys? If this series teaches ME something, it is that EffOrt is equal to JD in everything but his "aura". People are afraid of JD and hence do dumber stuff in hopes of catching him off-guard, but when both are faced with an opponent that they can't out-manage, they become Kwanro. I kinda liked JD before this series, but his game style once he doesn't go for his sexy management game is like Shine's... a player worthy of loathing and nothing more.
... talk about disillusionment.

Yeah, seriously. If the only way to beat a late-game mech transition by a Terran player is to not let it get to the late game, then that's what a progamer has to do.

I have to say though, Jaedong's lategame play was lacking. He played like just another Effort or Zero. Solid, but not good enough to beat Flash. Compare today's games with the way he played on grandline a few days ago. That game was absolutely flawless from Jaedong.

Just like Fantasy cheesed him in the PL a bit earlier, and just like Light cheesed Jaedong twice in a row in WCG

The thing on grandline is that light didn't fully commit to mines and tanks.
