Not the first time he's completely screwed up. The 4 pool against Skyhigh, losing twice in the Proleague Finals, losing against Frozean and lucky to have Anytime and Forgg roll over Khan, and now basically ruining Oz's chances to get into the playoffs by losing two games he really should have no trouble winning. Care to name anyone who actually is clutch instead? Fantasy? Skyhigh? These two are PL PO Bonjwas Trust me. If those two players are ever become skilled enough to get the high number of games in the play-offs that Jaedong under his bag, and the extra-attention from the opposing teams that comes with it, they won't look so clutch either. Fantasy is a damn reliable player that you could depend on in a high stress Proleague situation. He's pretty bad in finals series but he's rock solid when he's playing low number of games. Jaedong presumably does worse in Proleague because there is a team behind the player playing against him and thus aren't shitting their pants like Kal does or Free did against Flash. Even Fantasy played amazing SK terran against him on Outsider. Okay, I'll put it this way. Hwaseung Oz wouldn't trade ANYONE for Jaedong, no matter how much more "clutch" he is. Anyone would look mortal given enough exposure like Jaedong, and that includes Flash, Fantasy, or anyone you could name. There has been times when Hwaseung Oz pulled through simply because of Jaedong, and a couple of times relying too much on him back-fired, like today. Do you expect Jaedong to fight other teams all by himself AND succeed all the time? Come on, that's not being clutch. That would be playing god. You don't need to win all the time. You just have to win when it counts. Count the number of times Hwaseung Oz needed Jaedong to win. No player on earth can win "when it counts" given the situation Jaedong is under. Jaedong is probably the player that has to win the most because his team won't carry him through a slump. KT can kinda do that, and SKT can for sure, but if Jaedong isn't doing well, there's nothing Oz can do. And the way JD plays, he can burn out sometimes. Not sure if he did here, vs Bisu it was really really close, and vs s2 it as just a small mistake that cost him the game(canceling spire vs bisu as well). Makes me think after seeing his team continuously fail to support him over and over if Jaedong is starting to get sick of Hwaseung Oz. I really hope he jumps ship and signs onto another team that can actually back him up, like Wemade or even eStro, for his own sake.. Oz is a dead end as far as I can see. The only half-decent player developing is Killer, the Protoss line up is absolutely abysmal, and Lomo and Hiya can only do so much to help. Jaedong is truly a genius to have maintained such an insane level of play with such terrible practice partners..
I totally agree, this team is a bunch of losers (exclude Hiya, sorry Backho), how did Jae manage to continue playing well is a mystery indeed, I guess he 20-2 every day he trains there, and come on Jae jump off this wrecked ship!

Throughout the whole time JD said he wanted to stay with Oz and that's probably why no deals went through. JD wants to leave != parents want JD to leave.

I can't wait to read the Bisu interview. :D:D:D:D:D

Jaedong shouldn't leave Oz for the sake of balance and competition. Imagine if Jaedong ends up joining KT or SKT or CJ. They would end up being ridiculously overpowered and Oz would end up being worse than eStro, hite and Ace. Sure, it would be awesome to have Jaedong on the same team as Flash or Bisu and Fantasy, but it's really bad for progaming in the long run.
Besides, Oz isn't completely hopeless as a team. Hiya is easily one of the top 5 terrans at the moment with no weak matchups. Oz just needs Backho to regain his form and Killer to win more often in clutch situations, and they'll definitely be playoff material.

LOL @ holy nelson mandela in spoiler :D will definetely watch!

HELL YEAH! BISU IS BACK BABAY! Eff, I really wish I could've watched these games... How long was Bisu vs Jaedong?
|
Not a good way to start the week
After JD lost to Bisu, I almost think sending HiyA would have been the better move for the ace. I really hope this isn't the last PL for BW..the only way this one will be remotely satisfying for me is if MBC wins.
Fuuuuucking Bisu, I <3 you so much yet I want to kill you for hurting the Dong.
|
I cannot believe I missed this! Can't wait for the VODs!! YYYYYYYYYEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH BBBBIIIIIISSSSSSUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

When I saw that not only Bisu won, but that he beat Jaedong, I pretty much did a war chant. "KIIIIMMMMMM, TAEEEEEKK, YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNGGGG!!"

God damn Bisu, almost gave me a heart attack with the lings run by in the beginning and the unnecessary base trade. But I forgive you this time since you manage to pull through.
