Really is on a 10 game TvP streak right now. However, at least half of those are from scums like NBS, Spear, Reach, etc.

Flying 3 kill then reverse allkill Stork Khan wins 4-3 well thats my wish for FPL.

But seriously though, if Firebathero plays his TvP the way he did against Best and Bisu, then Flying should pose no problem at all - I mean, the last time I saw Flying play a PvT, he went two base carriers, and it was only because Xellos screwed up royally that Flying managed to win.
Whatever the case, by far the most important players to watch out for are Really, Stork and to a certain extent Jangbi. Really is on a killing streak against Protoss players, and with KHAN being the team most reliant on their Protoss lineup (at least SKT1 have fantasy...he does count for something), it's going to be struggle.
That said, KHAN also have the best PvTers - Stork destroyed Fantasy, and although Jangbi has lost his last few PvTs, he's lost them to insane TvPers - Really, Hiya and Fantasy. So he really shouldn't be counted out.
The only real unknowns would be the Zerg players Great and hyvaa. I don't know much about Hyvaa, but Great is almost T1 Zerg material (sorry Great ><)...I would almost say KHAN is better off fielding M18M in comparison.

My fantasy team is hoping for Flying > all until Stork for last, then Stork > all.
Would give me maximum points for Flying, tons of points for Stork, and I wouldn't lose any points with eStro. :D
With that said, Kingkosi is coming over tonight, and as he's a SKT1 fan, and I'm a CJ fan, we'll be watching that game instead.

A lot of his success seemed due to the map. Everytime Stork tried to engage his army it seemed almost impossible to get to the tanks in that long choke between 6 Oclock and Really's Main Base.
That said he played very well, especially after getting 3 kills respectively.

But Really trying to keep up with stork's expos when he started behind made his vulnerability window super long, rather than taking a crack at stork's vulnerability window when stork kept expanding.
|
That really needs to be a recommended game, that was a great game from both of them

The moment Stork had arbs out and didn't lose any of his expos was the moment the game was 100% over. All Really did was hold off Stork's aggression for awhile. And he did so while getting his army crushed horribly twice and then the rest of the game, hiding behind the endless walls this map has with clustered tanks.
Not trying to diss really. He played a great night of Starcraft. But the only thing keeping him alive vs Stork was the map.

Really played some damn nice games today. The last game perhaps seemed a little better than it should due to map imba + Stork being sloppy for a few minutes in the middle (and yeah, it was never close, with Stork on 200 bases), but the rest were pure ownage. Sucks that eSTRO doesn't win more matches (they're so close), but it's equally good that Khan is getting out of their slump.

I think people are just impressed how much he held out because he was so behind. But yeah that may just be because of the map, but it was still entertaining.

Good lord, this map is so bad for PvT. Absolutely no way to flank the terran army. Thank god Stork grabbed the early econ lead so he could keep suiciding his armies ZvMech style.

Really did an absolutely ridiculously good job defending from what I saw... that game probably would have been over at minute 5 if someone less experienced was playing and would have gone on no longer than 15-20 minutes instead of almost 30. Really didn't win the game but he proved that this win streak (although not against top players) is no fluke with his absolute rape of Jangbi with optical flare (never thought I'd say that) and this great game against Stork.
NOTE: Didn't everyone bitch and moan about how Katrina was so unwinnable as protoss and then they started 2base carriering every game... that argument died quickly. I hope the same doesn't happen with this map (ridiculous imba because of carriers), but I like the map so far :D.

Yeah man that was not a slaughter by any stretch, both guys played amazing games and there's no real need for smacktalk after a game that awesome. And it's pretty clear Really is good enough for Stork after that match - Stork just happened to win it.

Like I said, it's not a diss on Really. I just don't see any point in that game where he came close to a comeback.

Really died as soon as he tried to push out and got picked apart by recall. So my prior point still stands. Really stayed alive in the midgame with map imba turtling, then died when the arbs came out. It wasn't a close game, even thought it was very exciting.

That map is easy for Terrans to defend against straight up protoss main army attacks but hard for Terrans to protect all the expansions from recalls.

Yeah I totally thought that Really was completely done for multiple times and I never really could see a way for him to totally get back in the game from when he lost all those tanks early, but an exciting game doesn't have to be razorclose the entire time .

HUGE difference due to the abusable tank positions. There's no way protoss can survive until carriers come out when terran can harass the expo and 3rd so easily.
Stork had the right idea though. Storms work well given the map terrain. Unfortunately the strategy is so APM intensive and difficult to pull off.

Jangbi's other recent loss was against another TvP beast : fantasy on this same map so yeah...
then before that, i believe it was against Dragon Slayer HiyA, who's best matchup is TvP on hrmmm Moon Glaive >.>

2. We had a poll for few seconds to see what's more of an interest: BeSt's all-kill attempt or going back to eSTRO vs Khan. Majority of you voted to see BeSt's game, so we stuck with BeSt. Now, I remember some people complaining after match saying that we shouldn't switch the matches around like that.
Sorry to say this, but you guys spoke out as a group, and your voices were heard. All we did was to follow your opinion up to a point where we felt that it wasn't necessary to broadcast the match anymore (since it became obvious win/loss).

Despite all thats been said about Really, Jangbi was actually 6-1 on match point before the match coming in today (with most games being against zerg), so its not as if he's a total scrub on the map.

anyways, don't want to take anything away from Stork. Stork played a super solid game and had fantastic early game micro to put himself ahead.
Just a fantastic game and I hope these two teams meet again sometimes as I think they are fairly evenly matched.

Also, if I remember, there were few people screaming that they couldn't see JangBi's match (was it jangbi?) or so.
1. When there isn't a match from one channel, we usually switch over to other channel so that you guys won't get bored over non-legit Korean commercials. We do understand that Roffles wasn't streaming eSTRO vs. Khan, but when we started streaming BeSt's match, there wasn't any game on MBC Game.
2. We had a poll for few seconds to see what's more of an interest: BeSt's all-kill attempt or going back to eSTRO vs Khan. Majority of you voted to see BeSt's game, so we stuck with BeSt. Now, I remember some people complaining after match saying that we shouldn't switch the matches around like that.
Sorry to say this, but you guys spoke out as a group, and your voices were heard. All we did was to follow your opinion up to a point where we felt that it wasn't necessary to broadcast the match anymore (since it became obvious win/loss).
With that being said, I'm glad to see FBH back on the track =) Don't hold votes imo, people will vote for dumb stuff -.- Tell me about it. But the mods were having a discussion, and we just decided to let people choose. If you please one group, you can't please the other. That's how life works =/
Dude there is a difference between pleasing people and doing what you say you are going to do... This stream was labelled as the one for this game, while it was playing the other game (which already had a stream for it) DURING the first 3/4 of a game that was supposed to be streamed. Its not as if the rest of us who were there for that game had somewhere to go, whereas if you'd streamed the Really Jangbi game (which turned out was quite epic), everyone who really wanted to watch the other game could just go to the other stream. ...duh.

Just to put my 2c in about the stream choice during the jangbi game. If mystlords stream was the only stream up, putting up a vote as to which game to watch makes sense. Pleasing the masses is great. But come on, roffles was streaming the exact same game(and his stream was actually a couple of seconds ahead). d.zeroboy.net is there for a reason, why not just switch to the jangbi game and the tanslators can a) switch to roffles stream, or b) just translate the jangbi game. We got a couple of "updates" during the game which i remember as "just a macro fest" and as a result it seems like we missed a really exceptional tvp build by really which included blinding shuttles and observers as a way to shut down jangbi's push's.
If you are going to put you stream up under the estro vs khan game, at least give us a chance to watch it. I know you dont get anything out of it, but if you aren't going to stream the game we all want to see at least give us a bit of warning so we can go and see if we can coax ferron or daumplayer to work and have a chance to see the game...

Having a vote of 10-20 ppl in chat when there's 500 or so watching the stream (or alt-tabbed waiting for really vs jangbi like i was) is a joke. Everyone who voted effort vs best should've just switched to roffles... Seriously if there are 2 games running don't double up.

That would work if there was a second stream that had the other game. I'm not sure if there was or wasn't, but it sounds as if Mystlord was the only available/listed stream for the one matchup, but was streaming the other game instead.
Beggars can't really be choosers, but if that was the case my 2 cents is that I'd appreciate if (anyone) that's the sole streamer for a particular match would please keep tuned to that stream (or at least switch as soon as the game starts). That at least gives viewers the option to see the match they want, even if it does require an extra tab or a d.zb split.

I mean he didn't have to switch what game he was showing because of the d.zeroboy.net, as roffles was already showing SKT/CJ, and people shouldn't need to request that he show the other game.

All the maps in the map pool favour terran. Match point favours T as they will get the same no. of expos. But imba pvt skills by stork will not care about that :D The only toss player who can break a push of same supply count with pure ground.

Also, about the comment before,
Mystlord streamed both games at once, streaming the other game when there weren't any game playing on the channel. For example, when OGN was taking a break between matches, we went to MBC.
In the beginning, however, we stick to the schedule. This works out pretty well, as we have seen in the past.
EDIT: nvm, its not MSL. It was OSL. Still, BM match gogo.

Really's TvP met Stork's PvT.
But FBH's sudden out of nowhere resurgence is astonishing really. He has taken 3 games in the last two sets for Khan.

Just throwing in my 2 cents to say I really do appreciate it when a stream is kept on the set that's advertised. I know it's extra clicks to get to the other game but it's pretty important to me and the people I watch games with to be able to watch the games we're trying to catch... it's just a whole lot nicer to not miss games that you specifically showed up to watch. Oh well back to work.

I didn't get to vote in the poll because I was not watching the SKT CJ game, instead I was in here refreshing constantly waiting for someone to post that the stream had gone back to KHAN Estro, then eventually I gave up and had to wait for the last two games (both good ones) on VOD.

Then please don't post that youre streaming a specific set, or say so in the OP next to the stream, it really sucks for those of us looking to watch a full set.
I'm really at a loss as to why this is so upsetting to the guys streaming that people expect to see the set that is announced when they click on the stream supposedly showing that set. It just makes sense
It's like the debate with spoilers in OPs that happened the other day. People don't expect to be spoiled in the OP without specifically checking the Results tab, and people expect to see the set they clicked on when they are watching a stream.

Since this thread is still relevant, I just now realized that Really's wins in this game have put him at 23 wins -- tied with Flash for overall wins in PL(though Flash has only had an opportunity at 1 game in WL so far). He really is Sea 2.0. Explains why Steve loves him so much. :3
